Naomichi Marufuji reviews a carbon monoxide alarm (kakumag.com)
Hello everyone! It is Naomichi Marufuju from Pro Wrestling Noah.
It has become cold! There is the image of a professional wrestler wearing short sleeves throughout the year, but in the winter we all need to keep warm so we wear thick clothing. Speaking of keeping warm, there are many kinds of equipment, such as air conditioners, kotatsu*, oil heaters etc. Oil stoves boil hot water, and gas heaters warm up quickly, there are benefits, but there is also the fear of carbon monoxide poisoning due to insufficent ventilation and spontaneous combustion.
I am going to introduce an item that can detect this invisible danger!
You cannot see it, you cannot smell it, you feel danger, but you do not feel carbon monoxide poisoning.
It is a carbon monoxide alarm "RIM-GAS-SENSOR"! |
"It is a kind of oxide of carbon; it is colorless, odorless and a gas which combusts at normal temperature and normal pressure".
Yes, you cannot see it, you cannot feel it. If you use a stove with insufficent ventilation with oxygen shortage, a large amount of carbon monoxide is generated, it gets into the hemoglobin in the blood and becomes carbon monoxide poisoning. Because it does not have a smell, you cannot recognise the symptoms and you find yourself dangerously ill. That is it. Thank you.
This item is a sensor to prevent it....but...the instructions are.....
(As you can see all the instructions are English) |
This machine senses carbon monoxide
(I understand)
It uses three AA batteries! As long as there are batteries working, it will sense carbon monoxide perpetually.
(Just three AA batteries) |
(It doesn't have to be on the wall to be turned on) |
The alarm will ring at 85dB! It sounds loud. It is not dangerous if it does not ring, so when does it ring? This is the next excerpt point.
It judges carbon monoxide concentration (ppm) and sounds an alarm
According to the concentration of the carbon monoxide, the mechanism will sound an alarm depending on how many minutes are remaining. The longer the alarm, the greater the danger.
· 50 ppm alarm - 60 to 90 minutes
· 100 ppm alarm - 10 to 40 minutes
· 300 ppm alarm - 3 minutes
When the alarm sounds, or if you are testing it, you can shut it off by pressing the reset button. Anyway, I'm impatient to hear the alarm. So when the alarm goes off, stop the device and ventilate the room. If the carbon monoxide still remains, it will sound an alarm again depending on the following:
· 70 ~ 200 ppm: Alarm sounds again in 5 minutes
· 200 ppm or more: Alarm immediately sounds
· When maintaining 70 ppm or less, the alarm will not sound
To check whether or not it works properly, you push the button for five seconds, and alarm will sound. You should check this from time to time.
Check to see if the alarm actually sounds
Lets see if you can sense carbon monoxide. However, should it really become carbon monoxide it is dangerous, so what should I do...
Well, this is where the Noah bus is!!

(I wonder if these numbers are correct...) |
