Naomichi Marufuji reviews Okinawa Hot Spicy Chilli Pepper Mix (with the help of Yone, Storm, Kumano and Taniguchi)

Hello everyone! It is Naomichi Marufuji of Pro-Wrestling Noah! I have reported on hot ramen before (and that was a painful thing), but it seems that someone who read the article got a lot of fun out of it, so I tried testing hard products again.
Lets find out about this spicy product!
It's "Nana" and "Peanut Seeds"

(It looks like off the front of the package)

First of all, persimmon seed is a bit spicy.
But, what is more spicy...
(I'll try and intimidate it for now)

(On the upper right of the package is written "Okinawa Prefecture Produce Ultra Spicy Potato 100% Usa")

I thought that this was a red hat.
The super hot spicy red pepper "Akachi" appears to be a red pepper which contains the pungent ingredient "capsaicin" which has 3.4 times as much heat as the famous hot pepper "Habanero".

Because of its intense heat, it seems it was named "Akachi" after Oyake Akahachi* (Kaya Red Bee) who was a lord of Ishigaki Island* who was said to be a hero five hundred years ago.

Mr. Oyake Akahachi, if you were alive you would be five hundred years old.
...like in Twilight (laughs)

Lets return to the story...
Habanero is quite reasonable, but I cannot imagine something 3.4 hotter. A persimmon seed is not the strongest heat ever?

As you can see from the last review, I'm not good at tolerating heat! So lets get some of my colleagues to co-operate...

Lets check what is in this before they eat it.

(The appearance and smell are not that different from ordinary persimmon seeds)

 Yes, just checking here.

I asked the Noah heroes who are in the same room to try them, so please watch their reactions on the videos***
Hitoshi Kumano! He seems quite resistant to spice!
Quiet Storm! He does not seem bothered by how hot it is (Haha) Afterwards he drinks water (Lol)
Mohammed Yone loves spices, but watch his reaction! He is conscious of being professional (haha)
Maybach Taniguchi said that he wants to eat it all at once.
It serves you right

Yes, it seems to be painful.
It seems like...?
What do you think?
Hmm? Me?
I ate it properly.
Yes, I ate it.

Well anyway, the persimmon seeds are really painful, I guess! (LOL)
If you bring it to a New Years party, I guess it will liven it up!

  1. Just ate an entire bag of this stuff*, burning my face off, and it's fucking awesome.

Seriously, it's hot - but if you like your spicy stuff spicy enough to make your lips and ears burn and release all those wonderful endorphins, then this might well be the snack for you. Tastes good, too.

*purchased in June 2020 with a best before date of 2020.9.17 for 98 yen (less than a dollar), so apparently they're either still making this, or it has a really long shelf life and my supermarket in Tohoku got a really sweet deal on the stuff
