Noah Global League - First battle begins at the meeting, Nagai provokes Maybach and Marufuji, "I will whip you and take over"
Noah held a press conference in Tokyo on the 12th October, (the Global League will open at Korakuen Hall on the 14th), the participating players talked about it with enthusiasm.
Mitsuya Nagai (48) of Dradition, (who will compete in the league for the first time) virtually hijacked the conference. While Noah wrestlers were calmly talking, Nagai declared war stating "This league game is mine! I will whip you and take over!" He went on to say about being in the same block (A) as Maybach Taniguchi, "Don't run away! I will beat you in the opening match!". He continued provoking and a brawl broke out.
He refused to answer any questions. For Naomichi Marufuji (38) who is in the A block responded with, "The monk** wants to fight!". It is a provocation. Nagai responded with, "Hey, Marufuji! I can say even a schoolgirl who would see a "monk", beard" or a "daddy" would heat up when she sees my stuff! I came here for the first time, and you call me a monk!". He shouted, "please remember what I have said!". Still caught up with Marufuji, "the monk" kicked the chair and left the venue without waiting for the photo session.
Noah's Global League is where Nagai is making his first appearance and where grudges are born and more. A total of sixteen people will participate and it will be a battle for one month until the number one contender is crowned at Korakuen Hall on November 19th.
But who will be the last one laughing?
**The original word "ビッシビシ" is hard to define, it can either mean a man who looks feminine or it can be the sound of a smack, slap or a whip.
** Buddhist Monks have bald heads (just like Nagai, who is definitely acting in a very non Buddhist manner")
