Hajime Ohara injury

Hajime Ohara has updated his blog to say that he is receiving medical treatment at home. He says his stomach hurts, and this is the first time he has missed a match. Naturally he has injured over the course of his career, but has never missed any time.

The Hematuria (bleeding into the urine) started on Wednesday night, and he noticed he felt tired, had problems with his legs and feet (especially on running) and then noticed that his urine was a blackish color as the blood started to leak through. He decided to do something about it on Friday, but when he noticed that his urine was now red and not black he fainted in the toilet that morning (he says this was partly due to shock and partly due to the fact that he says he is not good with blood).

Taken to hospital they did examinations and announced that he had bruised kidneys. The doctor said that people suffer these injuries in accidents, but they do get better, and he needs to go home and rest.

Today (17th December 2017) the bleeding into his urine has stopped, and he hopes to have another examination tomorrow and hopefully the all clear to return as he doesn't want to miss Korakuen on the 22nd.

If all of this sounds alarming don't worry, he has treated himself to his favorite snack, French Toast, which he doesn't often have due to weight gain.
