(NOAH) Kenoh's column "Come At Me You Bastards" - Takeshi Morishima

"Finally, the head of the Super Violent Army is returning home on the 5th October for his own produce."

Kenoh says he is happy for Morishima, he doesn't know what Noah thinks about it though, but personally he is indebted to him.
They discuss his retirement and say that Morishima is reflective on things, especially the fact that he has caused trouble to people. Kenoh says that no one in Noah has said anything about his return, and he admits that at that time there may be many circumstances that he doesn't know about. He wonders why no one in Noah has said anything, especially Marufuji and Sugiura.
They chart Morishima's journey through Noah alongside Marufuji and Sugiura in particular, how he was both a wrestler and later a director. How they practiced together at the same dojo, cooking rice and eating it out of the same pot, growing up together for twenty years and being friends.

"Let's rejoice a little, fucker!"
Kenoh says that he has been thinking about Morishima every day since his return has been announced. He says something that doesn't really translate well, but the gist of it is that Morishima used to call him late at night before he went to sleep (Kenoh says he wonders if he will get a call soon).
Kenoh seems to be the closest to Morishima, even after retirement. He says that when he answered the phone to him, Morishima asked "did you miss me?". Kenoh laughs that he lied to him, and then says they went out drinking yesterday (and had been quite frequently as Morishima lived near him).

Kenoh was asked how it was after the announcement.
Kenoh says he knew that some part of Morishima was still in wrestling, he personally thought he (Morishima) should say something and come back, he didn't think he could do it in Noah, and wondered if he could do his own produce. On discussing his return it is agreed that even if he didn't return as an active wrestler, he had the power to attract people. They also mention the complete silence on what Morishima was doing in those years of silence and how on people who have quit you hear stories, and how on Morishima there was nothing.

"He was the best of the veterans...apart from the phone calls in the middle of the night".
Kenoh says that he came from Michinoku Pro, came to Noah and almost immediately entered the Super Violent Army. They got on well, Kenoh thought he was a very generous person, as he would never let him pay for anything ("not even one yen"). He was also a very reassuring presence for Kenoh as he was new to Noah and although he had lived in Tokyo and was accustomed to life in the big city** (Kenoh also reveals that he used to bicycle before he bought a car), it was Morishima who taught him how to live as a wrestler.

Kenoh finishes by saying he will talk more on Morishima in his next article.

*Noah will be eighteen years old in August 2018, but don't forget that they all spent about two years together in the All Japan dojo beforehand.
*Kenoh is a southern boy from Tokushima, Shikoku Island (he called it "this fucking countryside").
