Pro-Wrestling Noah have announced via the official website on the 24th November, that Naomichi Marufuji (39) will miss "Global League 2018" with a left shoulder contusion and left thigh muscle rupture.
"We are sorry to inform you that due to left shoulder contusion, which is now worse than before, and left thigh muscle rupture sustained in Yokohama yesterday, the doctor has advised an immediate stop to Naomichi Marufuji's participation in Global League 2018 as the representation of A Block"

"Due to Marufuji missing, we have decided that the Block A representative will advance to the Global League 2018 championship with a 3 Way Match between Kenoh, Nakajima and Sato due to their victory (over) or defeat (by) Marufuji. Hence the fight card has been changed".
Naomichi Marufuji said on TWITTER, "I am really sorry, I wanted to fight, whatever the condition. The staff, the fans, and Kiyomiya...I am sorry for the inconvenience. I will manage the condition, and return. Please give me a little time."
