It has emerged that there will be a reunion match between "Noah's Genius", Naomichi Marufuji (39) and DragonGate's "Iron Man", Masaaki Mochizuki (49).

Mochizuki, who celebrated his 25th anniversary this year, expressed his willingness to participate at Sumo Hall, Tokyo on February 19th, and said "My entrance into All Japan was a big turning point in my career, and I am still feeling grateful. I would love to participate at Giant Baba's 20 Anniversary Memorial".

Motoko Baba (died aged 78), stepped on the mat at the Nippon Budokan for the first time as president on September 2nd 2000. It was the days that followed the massive departure for Noah, and she became a "savior" for All Japan.

In addition, Mochizuki adds, "This is a big thing when the card has not yet been decided, but participation has been announced. The achievement is above and beyond, especially when there are wrestlers who have both a perfect career and physique. I want to see the continuation of my dream."
He continued that it was a reunion with Naomichi Marufuji.

Both Marufuji and Mochizuki had their first match in Osaka on the ROH USA Japan Tour on July 17th 2007. Marufuji formed a trio with the current WWE champion, Daniel Bryan, and CIMA, and fought with Mochizuki, Rocky Romero & Davy Richards.
The card is now impossible, but it is convincing to say that is the "continuation of a dream".
"We were only face to face for a short while, but, I think this is a great opportunity for a rematch".

Naomichi Marufuji told this newspaper, "Lets do it!" He is missing at the moment because of left shoulder contusion and left thigh muscle tear, but will be returning to Noah at Korakuen Hall on February 1st.
"I think he is a suitable wrestler for Sumo Hall. It is honestly quite amazing to be in that condition at that age. Although we had opportunities to meet at various places, there was no opportunity to fight" he said adding, "we will leave it to the executive committee".

Mochizuki emphasizes, "When you bring both our careers together, it is 46 years in total. It feels like a dream, but I don't want it to be the end of my dream".

The continuation will start at the big stage at Sumo Hall.
