(NOAH) Event recap Matsuyama City Comprehensive Community Center, Planning Exhibition Hall, Ehime ("Spring Navigation 2019" ~ Night One)

Noah started the first night of "Spring Navigation 2019" (full tour dates can be found here), in Kenoh's home island of Shikoku (but not his hometown, which he lovingly refers to as "this fucking countryside"), and the man himself was on autograph duty today.
Miyaki Wakako, Noah's official photographer, said that the atmosphere was an excited one, with a lot of momentum carried over from Yokohama.

Noah like to cater for the provinces, and a small exercise class (hosted by Masa Kitamiya) was held for about six or so local children in the ring for about fifteen or twenty minutes, and after the main event, Kaito Kiyomiya went around the small hall and shook hands with each person in the front row.
There was also a very touching moment involving YO-HEY & Yoshinari Ogawa after the match too, when the roster come out to sign autographs. Some junior high kids, who couldn't afford merchandise, asked YO-HEY & Ogawa if they could sign autographs for them, all they had was some paper. Autograph rules are that the wrestlers are only meant to sign merchandise, but Ogawa overruled this (he is the most senior man in the company and no one is going to argue with him), and said, "lets do it".

Ehime Pro (a local promotion) also held their traditional match when Noah are in the area for about ten or fifteen minutes before the event started.

No one also took any notice of the streamer ban.

MATCH ONE
Hitoshi Kumano vs Kinya Okada

Okada put up a good fight, but ultimately he couldn't prevail against the six year veteran (who had also helped train him).

WINNER: Hitoshi Kumano (9 minutes and 45 seconds with the lariat)

MATCH TWO
Takashi Sugiura & NOSAWA Rongai vs Masao Inoue & HAYATO

This is NOSAWA Rongai's first time in Noah, he has been on events involving Noah, but never actually in the promotion himself. He has come to Noah via WRESTLE-1, and today formed a scary tag team with Takashi Sugiura (KAZMA SAKAMOTO is elsewhere today).

HAYATO is from Ehime Pro.

The focus today was more on the interplay between Masao Inoue and Takashi Sugiura than on NOSAWA. Sugiura was briefly grateful to Inoue, who he calls "the weird old man" (despite the fact that Inoue is only six months older than him), but that stopped soon after Inoue stopped bumbling around and helped destroy The Hooligans, and today was no exception. Inoue used the usual tricks to try and get over Sugiura, but in the end, fell to him.

WINNER: Takashi Sugiura with the schoolboy on Masao Inoue (11 minutes and 4 seconds)

MATCH THREE
Hajime Ohara vs Hi69

Good match, although Hi69 was said to have hit Ohara with closed fists.

WINNER: Hi69 with the Stuka Splash (12 minutes and 3 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
AXIZ (Go Shiozaki & Katsuhiko Nakajima) & Minoru Tanaka vs Akitoshi Saito, Maybach Taniguchi & Junta Miyawaki

Maybach Taniguchi is still in "Monster Hooligans" mode as he came to the ring with his Sasumata (which he knocked everyone down with and cheered). The biggest friction was between himself and once upon a time tag team partner, Go Shiozaki, as they got into a weapons fight (Shiozaki wielding an iron barrier against him).
After the match, Taniguchi attacked the ref (Saito really needs to get to work deprogramming him).

There was a group hug at the end between AXIZ and Minoru Tanaka (Shiozaki apparently lent on Nakajima so heavily, that he almost knocked him over!)

WINNER: Go Shiozaki with the Go Flasher on Junta Miyawaki (14 minutes and 23 seconds)

MATCH FIVE
Naomichi Marufuji & 50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) vs Kenoh, Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura

Marufuji had mocked Kenoh before the match, writing on Twitter (ever the best way to have beef with someone), that Kenoh was an "obedient Kenoh" these days (he is hinting that Kenoh now does what Kiyomiya tells him), and he also used the suffix "kun", which is what a senior uses to address a junior.
Kenoh made no comment to Marufuji directly, but instead said about the match that he was looking forward to facing Marufuji for the first time since he came back from injury, and that he wanted to kick him.
Kick him hard.

So, Marufuji and Kenoh faced off right away (everyone knew this was how it was going to go down), and Marufuji Kawada kicked him.
Kenoh (who should feel himself lucky that it wasn't Kawada he did this to), no sold it with about the same temper that Kawada used to often be provoked into losing (usually by Misawa). The fight with Marufuji would go around the arena, even to the merchandise table, and there were kicks from Kenoh and chops from Marufuji outside the ring.

After the match, Marufuji said (in a rough translation), "Kenoh-kun, you must be fond of me? I'm not even in Global Tag League..."

It wouldn't surprise me if Marufuji announced himself as a surprise entrant, just to annoy Kenoh.

WINNER: Mohammed Yone with the Funky Buster Bomb on Yoshiki Inamura (18 minutes and 50 seconds)

MATCH SIX
Kaito Kiyomiya & Stinger (Yoshinari Ogawa & YO-HEY) vs RATELS (Daisuke Harada, HAYATA & Tadasuke)

Kaito Kiyomiya appeared once again in his fluffy Misawaesque coat. I do have to admit, that it does make the GHC look really magnificent, and it harks back to the belts lineage of its first owner and inaugurator, Mitsuharu Misawa.
It also makes me wonder whether Misawa designed the belt to go with his coat...

Ogawa and YO-HEY were out for revenge against HAYATA (Ogawa and Suzuki in particular are not going to forgive him for betraying them), and so he was beaten up on by them and isolated from the rest of RATELS.

From what I could make out, Daisuke Harada seemed to be making a beeline for Kaito Kiyomiya. There has been a lot of speculation about Harada going to the heavyweights, and while I think this will happen eventually, for now I think Harada wants to concentrate on building up the Noah juniors.
After the match, both RATELS and Stinger faced off with each other (while Tadasuke lay on the floor).

WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Tiger Suplex on Tadasuke (26 minutes and 7 seconds)
