Who will break through?
Noah's league "N-1 Victory" has finally entered its final stages. In A block, Go Shiozaki (37) and Takashi Sugiura (49) are in the lead.
The deciding match (16th September, Edion Arena 1st Stadium Osaka), Shiozaki with advancement in view, talked about his desire for this first victory. Succumbing to the strength of Alex Hammerstone (28) in the opening round, Shiozaki rebounded with two consecutive wins.

There is a reason he cannot lose.
He has vowed to fight against Katsuhiko Nakajima (31), who he holds the GHC Tag Tag Team Championship with, in the finals.
"Let us, AXIZ, fight for the championship in the finals. Only then enemies and allies do not matter. Whoever wins will take the GHC Heavyweight title. If I win, I will appoint Katsu-san as challenger for my first defense, if he wins, he will do the same for me. We promise to monopolize both tags and singles."

What is certain is that the league winner will challenge the GHC Heavyweight Champion, Kaito Kiyomiya (23) at Sumo Hall on November 2nd.
Nakajima, meanwhile is pursuing Mochizuki, the block leader with only one point difference, leading plenty of possibilities for him to breakthrough the block. This is why Shiozaki's feelings are increasing as he approaches his goal.

He has also noticed his own growth throughout the league.
"When I returned to Noah, I started to see the promotion differently when I got a partner of the same generation for the first time, who previously stood before me. Because I had only teamed with people who were high ranking seniors, a partner who is on an equal footing, has changed my view of professional wrestling."
Nakajima has also seen a change in his partner, "his attitude in thinking about professional wrestling 24 hours a day hasn't changed, but I think that just by going out just once, he is able to see my professional wrestling objectively".

All that remains now is the confrontation for first place with Takashi Sugiura (Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, 9th September). To engrave his name in Noah as the first winner, Go Shiozaki comments "he is a strong opponent, but I have to break through. It is me who stands at the center".
