At the conference today, it was announced that the GHC Heavyweight belt will be renewed.

Since the founding of the belt in 2001, the winner of the championship held at Sumo Hall on November 2nd will put on a new belt, instead of the first one that has been engraved with the history of numerous fierce battles.

President Takeda's comments are as follows;

"Thank you for coming to the Pro Wrestling Noah conference when you are busy.
Prior to the signing ceremony for the GHC Heavyweight championship to be held at Sumo Hall on November 2nd, we would like to inform you that the GHC Heavyweight belt will be renewed at Sumo Hall. Like the first generation, this is also a Reggie Parks belt.
The belt was founded in 2001, it has the most history in Noah, and this is the process of renewal at this time as Pro Wrestling Noah is celebrating its 20th anniversary in August of next year. Kaito Kiyomiya is the current GHC champion, and the whole company is working together to create a new era. It means we will show a new history and a new Noah. Due to use the old belt has undergone repairs, and with deep respect for the history it has built up, its safekeeping is important.

Kiyomiya will be the last champion to wear the current belt, the winner of the 2nd November at Sumo Hall, will be the first to put on the new belt."

  1. Looks interesting. Hopefully it will be more successful than the Hardcore title they had.
