At the Noah dojo in Saitama City on the 25th October, Shuhei Taniguchi (43), who will clash with Kazuyuki Fujita (49) at Sumo Hall on 2nd November, made himself a voluntary apprentice to Riki Choshu (67).

Choshu, who wrestled his 2nd retirement in June of this year, is the chairman of the advertising agency "LIDET ENTERTAINMENT", who are Noah's parent company.
On this day, on the cusp of the battle with Fujita which is close to a week away, Choshu volunteered to teach the way to win.

Choshu, who arrived at the dojo after noon, and met Taniguchi for the first time, was born in Kurayoshi City, Tottori, and attended Tokuyama University.
He listened to Taniguchi's career that was devoted to amateur wrestling in the Self-Defense forces, and then for over thirty minutes he spoke of his attitude as a wrestler. Next, he let Taniguchi be passive in the ring, and advised "more speed". For a further 30 minutes, as a revolutionary warrior, he thoroughly taught his "revolutionary soul", which established an era in the pro wrestling world.
Taniguchi, who received the "revolutionary sermon" for an hour said, "I got various advice, and learned how to be ready for the match."

In conveying his experience, Choshu said that he didn't know that Taniguchi was a wrestler with a fourteen year career.
After practice had finished he said, "Looking at passive, it is basic and looks good". On top of that he sent encouragement for the fight with Fujita saying, "No matter if you win or lose, the flowers will bloom." On the other hand he also repeatedly advised, "Just don't show the same form every time. This is where Professional Wrestling is difficult."

Choshu is scheduled to attend the 2nd November Sumo Hall tournament. Speaking of what he has taught of the match between Taniguchi and Fujita he said, "I am looking forward to seeing how I feel sitting in the guest seating. Even if you win or lose, the audience should be wowed".
