(NOAH) Fan event recap ~ Kongoh at The Craftbeer Tavern (Osaka, 24th January 2020)

Kongoh (Kenoh, Masa Kitamiya, and Yoshiki Inamura) made a rare appearance today in a fan event held at The Craftbeer Tavern in Osaka. Instead of sitting facing the wrestlers, the fans sat long tables and where given a choice of food, (which included sausages and breaded chicken wings), as the wrestlers talked, and faced them side on. Kenoh's favorite beer was also on offer, it is foamless because he says he hates beer bubbles.
While fans were waiting I think classic puro might have been shown on the projector screen that when the wrestlers came out, they sat in front of. I know that certainly there was a video of Fuse Pro Wrestling, who hosted the event.

Kongoh appeared wearing black t-shirts (THE TOUGH wore Kongoh t-shirts, Kenoh did not, and Inamura's hair was spiked to fine points and photographed by Masa Kitamiya). Fans said that at the Noah shows you only ever saw them looking solemn (and in the case of Kenoh, a scowl), but it was so nice to see them relax and smile, and there was a lot of laughter at the event.

Here are some snippets from the talk:
~ Kenoh was actually quite smiley, and as he wasn't either shrieking or growling, fans commented on his nice voice and soft accent.
~ Masa Kitamiya neatly sidestepped the question of his hatred towards Katsuhiko Nakajima. He said this was not the place to discuss it.
~ Kenoh hinted that something was possibly going to happen in Osaka on the 25th January, but first, he wants to show his enemies the dominance of Kongoh
~ Masa Kitamiya burst into laughter when asked about being called "cute". He was said to be very amusing.
~ Kenoh likened Kongoh to being like a group of colleague graduates
~ Yoshiki Inamura said that his big singles matches (Fujita, Suzuki, Sekimoto) were very important to him
~ Kenoh said that he has someone very special in mind to team with for Global Tag League which is due to take place later in the year.
~ Yoshiki Inamura was asked what he loved about Kenoh, he said his strength of will, his stubbornness...and how he acts when he is drunk. 
~ Kenoh has not totally given up on fighting Kiyoshi Tamura, he says he wants this fight as it will be different from the normal tracks that Puro runs on.

...and Yoshiki Inamura sat eating fried chicken and a pile of chips, while their empty beer glasses were replaced, and the others spoke (afterwards he and Masa Kitamiya went out for even more food).

After the event, and we have the fans demanding this, a photo session was held. Kongoh usually pulled their traditional pose, but for one fan they posed side on in a row as they had done for their interview with "Weekly Pro" a few months ago.

The event was such a success (and it was fully booked out with no vacancies), that Noah hinted that there may well be a second one held.
