Noah's "Global Tag League" championship finals match was broadcast as a TV match on the 18th, which was the team of El Hijo De Dr Wagner Jnr (28) and Rene Dupree (36) of A block, defeating AXIZ Go Shiozaki (38) and Katsuhiko Nakajima (32) of B Block, to win the first ever victory for foreigners.

In the match, Shiozaki concentrated a focused attack on El Hijo De Dr Wagner Jnr's left knee.
Nakajima attacked with a Dragon Screw variant Indian Death Lock, with Shiozaki driving in with a chop to the knees and a pin. El Hijo De Dr Wagner Jnr also attempted a La Mahistral and skewered lariat, but he could not get a foothold and could not continue with the rest. However, Dupree assisted Nakajima with a Gotch Style pile driver, and in the end El Hijo De Dr Wagner Jnr finished the match with a moonsault.

After the match, the GHC Heavyweight Tag Champions, Naomichi Marufuji (40) and Masaaki Mochizuki (50) got into the ring. Marufuji provoked, "I know what you guys want to say, that you will beat us and win the league, and wear this belt."
Wagner's team nodded, and the next challenge was made.

Backstage Dupree was asked his impressions of the championship group, "You know what? We will have the victory of them. We have just teamed up, but we are getting stronger with each match. Victory for the Mexican and Canadian tag, this is global! Beer! Beer!" Having a good laugh he disappeared into the waiting room.
