The start of wrestling business CyberFight Inc

DDT Pro Wrestling Co. Ltd (hereinafter DDT), Noah Global Entertainment Co. Ltd (hereinafter Noah) and DDT Food Co. Ltd* (hereinafter DDT foods), will be integrated as of September 1st 2020. We are pleased to announce that we will start as a pro wrestling subsidiary Cyber Fight Co., Ltd.

Background

Following the boom in pro wrestling, DDT joined CyberAgent in 2017 and Noah in February 2020, meaning that both groups were able to expand their entertainment services that fans can enjoy. While working to stabilize the management base, in collaboration with CyberAgent and in addition to delivering both events on TV through the video streaming platform "ABEMA", we have been working on the growth of the company by communicating the interest and appeal of pro wrestling to a wide range of people through blogs, SNS etc and working on the growth of the companies by raising awareness of the wrestlers to which promotion they belong. 

In this way, since February 2020, both DDT and Noah have been working to revitalize the pro wrestling industry by making use of group synergy. With the spread of the coronavirus, it has become unavoidable to postpone or cancel box offices and carry out empty arena events. With a view to running wrestling during and after the Corona era, DDT, Noah ad DDT Foods (a subsidiary of DDT) have merged into a new business, and will be launched as CyberFight Co., Ltd. As a result CyberFight will unify the management operations of the three companies, optimize personnel allocation, and aim for a new era in pro wrestling management. 

Regarding the future system 

Nobutaka Takagi (ring name, Sanshiro Takagi) who is currently the president of DDT and Noah, will become the president of CyberFight. By establishing a divisional system for each promotion, we will aim to become a company that represents the professional wrestling industry by maintaining the brand on-site structure while making the most of the individuality of each promotion.
