(NOAH) CARD - N-1 VICTORY, NIGHT 6 (26TH SEPTEMBER 2020, BANDAIJIMA MULTIPURPOSE PLAZA LARGE KAMA, NIIGATA)
Before they head down to Tokyo (and then onto Osaka) for the closing nights of the league, Noah will be in Niigata today as the league enters its final desperate stages.
Daisuke Harada will be on autograph duty.
The bell will sound at 17:00 JST. The event will not be broadcast live, but will be shown on the 29th September on WRESTLE-UNIVERSE.
The Sugiura Army (Takashi Sugiura, NOSAWA Rongai & Kaz Hayashi) vs FULL THROTTLE (YO-HEY, Hajime Ohara & Seiki Yoshioka).
Takashi Sugiura finds himself on a junior dominated card, as YO-HEY steps out with FULL THROTTLE for the first time, but no matter as this is a rare card and about to get rarer as Sugi is going to eat them all.
MATCH TWO
N-1 VICTORY
Katsuhiko Nakajima vs Yoshiki Inamura
Time is running out for Yoshiki Inamura to get all all important first win, and one against Nakajima would be a massive one.
MATCH THREE
Kaito Kiyomiya & Kotaro Suzuki vs Kongoh (Kenoh & Haoh)
Grudge match between Kenoh and Kaito Kiyomiya (they have a complicated love\hate relationship, and are very close in points in the league) and Kotaro Suzuki and Haoh (Haoh of course is challenging for the GHC Junior Heavyweight). This will also be the first time that Kenoh and Kotaro Suzuki have been in the ring together.
MATCH FOUR
N-1 VICTORY
Masaaki Mochizuki vs Manabu Soya
Raw power will meet raw technique
MATCH FIVE
STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa & HAYATA) & Kinya Okada vs Momo No Seishun (Daisuke Harada & Atsushi Kotoge) & ???
Daisuke Harada will be introducing someone new to help take back the Noah juniors from the hated STINGER, who have taken so much from him over the years, and the only hint he has given to this person's identity is that they share the same belief as him. Whether that means they have an axe to grind with STINGER, or whether he's referring to the taking back of the Noah juniors, we will discover on the night. Fan opinion has it as Junta Miyawaki who is returning, but I personally think that whoever it is has some kind of connection with everyone in the ring, except perhaps the rookie Kinya Okada.
MATCH SIX
N-1 VICTORY
Naomichi Marufuji vs Shuhei Taniguchi
Marufuji may well end up regretting his teasing of the somewhat expressionless Taniguchi, especially since Takashi Sugiura (who made similar comments) found that he had to come out of "third gear" in his match against him.
MATCH SEVEN
N-1 VICTORY
Go Shiozaki vs Masa Kitamiya
Two powerhouses collide, the increasingly battered Go Shiozaki and the increasingly powerful Masa Kitamiya.
Go Shiozaki needs to win this to put him in the block lead at six points, which will overtake Kaito Kiyomiya's five, for Masa Kitamiya a win will bring him up to four and give him a chance to get back in the league finals. Simply put, nothing but a win will do here.
