(NOAH) Kakizome: "The year in total" (New Years Resolutions)
2nd December 2020
Pro Wrestling DX
In Japan it is traditional at the start of the New Year to practice what is known as "Kakizome" (literally "first writing"). Once people would write poetry, but it has become more common these days for people to write auspicious kanji.
Noah has had a tradition for many years (as indeed do many promotions) of their wrestlers writing out their goals and intentions (and their mottos, which is kind of like a "New Years Resolution"), for the New Year. This year twenty three members of the Noah roster have written their resolutions and their motto for 2021. Kanji is meant to be auspicious, but naturally, some people have gone off the rails...
