(NOAH) CARD: STEP FORWARD 2021 (23rd February, YAMADA Green Dome Maebashi Sub-event area, Gunma)

Pro Wrestling Noah bring the show to Maebashi, Gunma today. Doors will open at 16:45 and the show itself will begin at 17:30 (all times in JST). As this is a show that is done outside of both the Tokyo and Osaka metropolitan areas, the event will not go out live, instead it will be streamed on WRESTLEUNIVERSE on Friday 26th February. You will need to be a subscriber to view this. You can sign up from anywhere in the world (either with Paypal or with a card), and you get the first month free, after this it will be 900 yen per calendar month.

Takashi Sugiura vs Kinya Okada

Rare singles match for Takashi Sugiura, and a chance for a Noah senior to assess the next generation. 

MATCH THREE
STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa, HAYATA & Susumu) vs The Kongoh Juniors (Haoh, Nioh & Tadasuke)

This will be a predictably chaotic junior match. I'm not expecting a title challenge from Haoh and Nioh, as they challenged not too long ago, and Tadasuke somehow seems to me to be more interested in the singles title, but that doesn't entirely rule out the only other two eligible juniors on the card, YO-HEY and Hajime Ohara. Especially since YO-HEY and HAYATA have not had a match since October 2020...

MATCH FOUR
Kaito Kiyomiya, Yoshiki Inamura, Mohammed Yone & Shuhei Taniguchi vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Masa Kitamiya & Manabu Soya)

With Takashi Sugiura on the card earlier, and Kazushi Sakuraba not in Gunma, there is no pre-match tonight for THE AGGRESSION, and as Kendo Kashin isn't on the card (although he, like NOSAWA, tends to appear out of thin air), Kenoh has no pre-match either. Instead what Kenoh does get is Kaito Kiyomiya (the sight of whom will probably annoy him as it always does). 

I hope Mohammed Yone realizes that Kaito Kiyomiya is too young to remember disco and is into Jazz, and Yoshiki Inamura is into punk, the music of anti-disco (although both Kiyomiya and Inamura are too polite to tell Yone otherwise). 

MATCH FIVE
Go Shiozaki & Momo No Seishun (Daisuke Harada & Atsushi Kotoge) vs Naomichi Marufuji & FULL THROTTLE (Seiki Yoshioka & Hajime Ohara)

"In the last GHC Junior Championship pre-match between Yoshioka and Kotoge in Sendai, Yoshioka is soaring. What strategy will be seen in the second round pre-match in Maebashi??"

Like Mitsuharu Misawa before him, Naomichi Marufuji had loved being a junior, and he loves wrestling juniors. Even if they are juniors like Daisuke Harada, who he relentlessly bugs about following him on Twitter. Harada can be just as stubborn as Marufuji (if such a thing is possible). Also in this match we get that wonderful little treat, Daisuke Harada vs Hajime Ohara. 

I am also fully expecting Go Shiozaki and Naomichi Marufuji to have another chop contest, but this time on each other.
