(NOAH) CARD: N Innovation (Saturday May 14th 2022, Yokohama Radiant Hall)

The juniors hold their own wild night at Yokohama, following on from the last Korakuen Hall where STINGER went to war with each other over the GHC Junior Heavyweight tag belts, Xtreme Tiger challenged HAYATA (who is caught in the middle of the STINGER war) for the GHC Junior Heavyweight, and Simon Gotch and Kaito Kiyomiya started a rivalry. Kiyomiya and Gotch of course are not Noah Juniors, but they seem to be the only two heavyweights (and Gotch is only the second heavyweight to appear at N Innovation) that Daisuke Harada can tolerate, even if Gotch is now associated with STINGER.

The event will be broadcast on WrestleUniverse from 17:30 JST. You must be a subscriber to view.

Match One
Junta Miyawaki vs Kinya Okada

Probably the least problematic match on the card, where no one is feuding with anyone else, and neither of these two want to destroy each other. Mild overtones of senior and junior.

Match Two
The Noah Junior Regulars (Atsushi Kotoge, Haoh & Alejandro) vs Kongoh Juniors (Tadasuke, Hajime Ohara & Hi69)

That neither of these teams have a belt to fight over, won't stop this match from being highly charged. Hi69 of course still has a score to settle with Haoh, and this will be their first match since Hi69 lost both the hair and name match and so he will be looking to prove he still has the Kongoh resolution in him.

Match Three
HAYATA & Kai Fujimura vs Xtreme Tiger & YO-HEY

The pre match between HAYATA and Xtreme Tiger begins. Xtreme Tiger is a complete new opponent for HAYATA, and while they may have met in Osaka Pro, they never had any matches there. What is interesting about this match is YO-HEY. YO-HEY seems to be teaming an awful lot with Xtreme Tiger in the pre matches, and having very little to do with the Noah Junior Regulars. I don't think it's because he's leaving them, but because he may well be the next challenger for the belt.

Match Four

This is going to be the start of the three most ugly, vicious and bitterly fought matches on the card. Chris Ridgeway is one half of the GHC Junior Heavyweight Champions, who have been attacked twice (ambushed may be a better word) by Seiki Yoshioka and Yuya Susumu. Tonight is a chance for revenge for Ridgeway, and knowing how STINGER take theirs, it's going to be harsh.

Match Five
Simon Gotch & Yoshinari Ogawa vs Kaito Kiyomiya & Yuya Susumu

If Yoshinari Ogawa and Yuya Susumu (the clash of the technicians that fans have been waiting for) wasn't enough drama, Kaito Kiyomiya and Simon Gotch join in with their own feud, Kiyomiya has said that against Gotch he has the chance to bring out things he learned in Canada that he hasn't been able to do in Noah (I can imagine that Ogawa is going to be interested to see just what he is going to do). This is going to get heated very quickly, probably even before the bell rings. I can see the chaos carrying on after it with the addition of tag partners, and possibly HAYATA giving a hint or perhaps more, as to whose side he is going to be on.

Match Six
Noah vs Z-Brats
Daisuke Harada vs H.Y.O

Daisuke Harada might not have been able to take the main event at N Innovation at Ryogoku Kokugikan, but tonight in Yokohama he takes the main with his own feud against Z-Brats H.Y.O. Fans had hoped for a Daisuke Harada vs Shun Skywalker singles, but as he had defeated Junta Miyawaki and Alejandro in singles, H.Y.O said he would finish off with Harada. This is Harada's chance tonight to make right all the weeks of insults and to avenge three humiliating losses.
