CyberFight Festival 2022, Saitama Super Arena, 12th June
- Title challenge

Kojima had just finished saying saying that he was exhausted fighting a very strong champion and thanking Go Shiozaki, when Kenoh came stamping to the ring to challenge him for the title. Kenoh did this in usual fashion, loudly telling Kojima that Noah was not the place for New Japan to come to snap up cushy jobs.

Kojima told him to speak to his elders a little more politely, and while he didn't care about how old he was personally, he would accept Kenoh as challenger partly because he didn't like his tone and partly because he hadn't fought Kenoh yet.

BACK IN THE KOBE! ~ Live 2022 ~ (June 19th, Hyogo / Kobe Sambo Hall)
Satoshi Kojima, Kaito Kiyomiya, Daiki Inaba & The Noah Junior Regulars (Daisuke Harada & Haoh) vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Manabu Soya, Tadasuke & Hi69)

Kenoh (who entered using his robe from CyberFight Festival, minus the hair fortunately) mocked him by pulling Kazuchika Okada's Rainmaker pose. Fans are wondering whether this is not just a provocation to Kojima. It is no wonder that Kojima said he felt battered after the match as he got kicked between Kenoh and Nakajima.

Winner: Satoshi Kojima with the Western Lariat on Hi69 (19 minutes, 35 seconds)

As Soya hauled Hi69 out of the ring and carried him backstage on his shoulders, Kojima was holding the belt up to Kenoh. On the microphone, Kojima thanked everyone for coming today, and said that he felt that he couldn't lose because of all the people who came to the autograph session. As for Kenoh, he swore he would take the belt back and then send Kojima back to New Japan. Asked what he meant by the Rainmaker pose, Kenoh answered "I'll leave that to your imagination".

SUNNY VOYAGE 2022 (Yokohama Radiant Hall, Friday 24th June)
Satoshi Kojima & Kaito Kiyomiya vs Kenoh & Katsuhiko Nakajima

Kenoh and Satoshi Kojima started the match, but Katsuhiko Nakajima, who had no intention of being eclipsed by either his partner or the GHC Heavyweight Champion and their fight, kept a sharp eye on Kojima. Like Kaito Kiyomiya, Nakajima seems to have joined the queue of potential challengers, but is more open about it. He did his infamous slaps too.

Kojima fought to prove that he belonged in Noah, and was deserving of the title. There is a strong bond between himself and Kiyomiya that continues to grow, it's almost like a mentorship. Kiyomiya is always looking to learn, and Kojima seems to be happy to teach, even if Kiyomiya knows all too well what it feels like to be battered by Kongoh.

WINNER: Time out draw at 30 minutes, no resolution.

AFTER THE MATCH

KOJIMA: I won't give you this belt so easily. Do you understand, mutherfucker?
KENOH (yelling): Hey! You didn't win, so why are you closing (out the show)? This isn't the New Japan ring, this is Noah's! Okay, I will close out.
KOJIMA: I will close out. Go on home.
KENOH: YOU go home!
KOJIMA: No, YOU go home!
KENOH: Go home!
KOJIMA: No you!
KENOH: Fine! Okay! I'll go home, and I'll be doing squats for July 16th! See ya!
KOJIMA (as Kenoh walks off): Do about 1000 squats, and do them properly! Can you do it 1000 times? Just do it! Go home and do it properly 1000 times!

Kojima attempts to talk in the ring, saying "I'm going to the Nippon Budokan mutherfuckers!", but he is hijacked by Kenoh's loud voice coming from backstage, screaming loudly "One! Two! Three!"....

KENOH (while squatting): If you listen, you can hear Kojima talking. Hey! I have done a lot of these. HEY, KOJIMA! CAN'T YOU HEAR ME? 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! 9! 10! (Kenoh continues counting squats and by the time he gets to 70, he sees Kojima coming backstage) Hey, Kojima, yeah? What are you looking at?

The two of them face each other

KOJIMA: Oi, how many have you done? Have you even finished 100? You haven't even done that many yet!
KENOH: I am doing that now!
KOJIMA: You haven't done 100!?
KENOH: Shut up!
KOJIMA: Didn't I tell you do to 1000?
KENOH: Deal out just one lariat! (Rough, does not translate well)
KOJIMA: No way! It's wasted in a place like this!
KENOH: What's wrong? Are you too scared?
KOJIMA: No, I'm not scared! And I am certainly not scared of you, asshole!
KENOH: What's your problem? Asshole.
KOJIMA: Look, just go home, quickly.
KENOH: Oh do shut the hell up!
KOJIMA: I can't beat you in a quarrel, so let's go! Shut up! I am only going to say this once, SHUT THE HELL UP, asshole!
KENOH: Looks like a babyface pretending...
KOJIMA: Fucker, I am not a baby face...
KENOH: What, an asshole?

They start to brawl, Kenoh kicks Kojima with a series of low kicks, with Kojima countering with an elbow

KOJIMA: What the hell, fucker! Why are you being so quiet?
KENOH: Hey, that's what you want!
KOJIMA: Don't fuck with me, asshole!

Kenoh pulls out the platform truck that holds the folding chairs between them. They yell at each other through what looks like bars.

KOJIMA: Hey, watch it! Don't break the equipment!
KENOH: Shut the fuck up!
KOJIMA: You break it, you pay for it!
KENOH: I'll do that
KOJIMA: Muthefucker, will you really pay for it?
KENOH: Well, you are stingy
KOJIMA: Shut up! Your a cheap bastard
KENOH: What the fuck? Go home. Go back to New Japan!

SUNNY VOYAGE 2022 (Saturday July 2nd, Fukushima Big Palette, Fukushima)
Satoshi Kojima, Kaito Kiyomiya & The Noah Junior Regulars (Atsushi Kotoge, YO-HEY & Xtreme Tiger) vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Tadasuke, Hajime Ohara & Hi69)

Kenoh and Satoshi Kojima started quarrelling, and this went on throughout the whole match. YO-HEY got beaten up by Katsuhiko Nakajima (who did the Shutter Chance on him to the camera), bodies flew everywhere, Tadasuke was the crafty villain and junior wars broke out around the heavyweight one.

Hajime Ohara vs Satoshi Kojima seemed to have been something everyone had been waiting for, Ohara even put Kojima in the Mui Bien

Winner: Satoshi Kojima with the Western Lariat on Hajime Ohara (15 minutes, 56 seconds)

More arguing between Kenoh and Kojima before Kenoh left the ring. Kojima closed out the show by mentioning the title match and telling the Fukushima crowd to either way watch Noah - come to the Budokan or have fun watching on WrestleUniverse. Backstage, Kenoh once again barged in on Kojima and another argument broke out. Kenoh claimed he had done squats when he came to the arena, and so did push ups.

SUNNY VOYAGE 2022 (Sunday, July 3rd - Yamagata Big Wing, Yamagata)
MATCH SEVEN
Satoshi Kojima & Daiki Inaba vs Kongoh (Kenoh & Manabu Soya)
WINNER: Kenoh with the PFS on Daiki Inaba (15 minutes, 26 seconds)

Then Kenoh got back in the ring and started provoking Kojima, and they got into a fight after the match.

Backstage, Kojima suggested Lion Pushups and started demonstrating them. He found himself staring at an pair of angry red boots, which later stamped him down. Kenoh started yelling that his new t-shirt had a Lion on it, and if Kojima was so nostalgic for Lions, then he should buy it and wear it to enter.

SUNNY VOYAGE 2022 - Sunday July 10th, Fujisan Messe, Shizuoka
Satoshi Kojima & Atsushi Kotoge vs Kongoh (Kenoh & Hajime Ohara)

A foul mouthed feud deserves a final foul mouthed final pre-match, and with Kenoh and Satoshi Kojima swearing at each other, the referee even got dragged into it when one started complaining about the other. Kenoh even changed Kojima's "Let's go..." into "Let's go, assholes!". Kaito Kiyomiya wasn't the only person to use Keiji Mutoh moves, as Kojima used the Dragon Screw.

Winner: Kenoh with the PFS on Atsushi Kotoge (17 minutes, 19 seconds)

The final pre match ended with Kenoh winning over an opponent, but not the champion. Kenoh saw it as a win in lieu, and said so much on the microphone afterwards in usual shrill and angry manner. Then after butting heads, the row went backstage and because this is a small country venue everyone heard them. Their last challenges included squats, push ups and now Kojima suggested karaoke...

ABEMA presents DESTINATION 2022 - Nippon Budokan, Tokyo, Saturday 16th July

Big match SFX were used for the entrances. They might not have been as elaborate as CyberFight Festival, but they were just as effective; Kenoh walked down the ramp lit by smoke and fire, while Satoshi Kojima had a curtain of sparks.

After a brief moment of comedy at the opening of the match, involving Kojima flexing his pecs and Kenoh doing it back, it was down to business. Kenoh had both a dream and an ambition. His dream was to win the GHC Heavyweight at the Nippon Budokan and leave the ring last. His ambition is to clear a path for the young in Noah (Kenoh does not consider himself to be young now as he will be 38 in January 2023) and "break the curse of the old men". For title matches Kenoh will always go the extra mile, entering to special theme music, pulling out acrobatic moves, although it seemed he did not use the lariat he had visited Kenta Kobashi about. There was too much at stake for him to lose to Kojima, his dreams, Noah's future and that of Noah's young. Kenoh hung on just as much as Kojima did through everything they had to throw at the other, Kojima even taking numerous PFS. It took the special one on an worn down Kojima for Kenoh to become the 40th GHC Heavyweight Champion and usher in his second reign.

WINNER: Kenoh with the Moonsault Double Knee Attack (28 minutes, 17 seconds)

Next champion: Kenoh
