(NOAH) CARD: STAR NAVIGATION 2022 (Friday July 22nd, Korakuen Hall)

The card has undergone a change due to Go Shiozaki suffering a neck injury following the Korakuen Hall event on the 21st July. Hopefully he will not miss the N-1, but he will miss both today's event and the weekend fan events.

Event will be streamed live on WrestleUniverse from 18:30 JST. You must be subscriber to view.

MATCH ONE

Daiki Inaba vs Kinya Okada

Interesting opening match with the up and coming Kinya Okada, who is desperately trying to turn the next corner.

MATCH TWO

HI69 VS Super Crazy

Kongoh Juniors vs Perros Del Mal. There isn't as much hatred between these two groups as there is Perros Del Mal De Japon vs Kongoh or even Perros Del Mal De Japon vs The Noah Junior Regulars, but as both are Noah Juniors, it's going to get bitter.

MATCH THREE

Takashi Sugiura, Mohammed Yone & Akitoshi Saito vs Masa Kitamiya, Shuhei Taniguchi & Yoshiki Inamura

The last time THE TOUGH (Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura) teamed together, it did not go well as the referee stopped the match as Yoshiki Inamura was being choked out by Hideki Suzuki and they lost the GHC Heavyweight Tag Title challenge. Masa Kitamiya was very angry and there seemed to be a fracture between the two. We shall see what happens tonight.

MATCH FOUR

The Noah Junior Regulars (Daisuke Harada & Seiki Yoshioka) vs Kongoh Juniors (Tadasuke & Hajime Ohara)

Following Noah's show yesterday, Seiki Yoshioka was welcomed into the Noah Junior Regulars after Daisuke Harada defeated him. Up until now these two have been enemies, so this will be their first time forming a team. Tadasuke has commented that Harada has "collected another (lone) wolf". Hajime Ohara, who Seiki Yoshioka betrayed for STINGER, and who is now in a unit with most of the ex members of FULL THROTTLE (bar himself) will no doubt take pleasure in revenge. But, at the time of writing, we have no idea what YO-HEY'S reaction is going to be as he and Yoshioka do not exactly get along.

MATCH FIVE

STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa & Yuya Susumu) & Kai Fujimura vs PERROS DEL MAL DE JAPON (NOSAWA Rongai, Eita & Kotaro Suzuki)

The latest in the ongoing saga of STINGER, Perros Del Mal De Japon and the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag challenge, is that in the absence of Chris Ridgeway, Eita has stolen Yoshinari Ogawa's tag belt and is beating him up at every chance. Ogawa tried to get the belt back yesterday, but was jumped by Perros. Tonight it is three on three, but no doubt, it won't stay that way, and the match I doubt will be one that settles anything.

MATCH SIX

Ninja Mac, Atsushi Kotoge & Anthony Green vs Dante Leon, YO-HEY & Stallion Rogers

The colorful and much beloved team of Dante Leon and YO-HEY (despite only having their first match together yesterday) are back and taking on their friendly nemesis Ninja Mack and The Noah Junior Regulars Atsushi Kotoge & Anthony Green.

MATCH SEVEN

Masato Tanaka & HAYATA vs Manabu Soya & Shuji Kondo

This is a very strange match up to say the least. HAYATA and Masato Tanaka have never been in the ring together because they have never had any reason to team together or against each other. Fortunately for HAYATA, it's the latter. HAYATA'S pre match against Shuji Kondo continues, with a handshake yesterday to have a good and straightforward match.

MATCH EIGHT

N-1 scramble 6-person tag match

Kongoh (Kenoh, Masakatsu Funaki vs Katsuhiko Nakajima) vs Kaito Kiyomiya, Satoshi Kojima & Masaaki Mochizuki

Scramble matches are held under the DragonGate "No Touch" rule, which means that partners do have to tag in to be the legal man in the ring. They become the legal man when either of the partners are outside the ring. Everyone in the match is taking part in the N-1, and for Masakatsu Funaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima, they are in the same block as is Kaito Kiyomiya and Satoshi Kojima. The heavyweights tonight go to war, in a similar manner as their junior counterparts.
