(NOAH) CARD: SUNNY VOYAGE 2023 (Aomori Mutsu Maeda Arena, Sunday March 26th)

The Tokohu Tour enters the third day. The excitement is building up as tonight sees a GHC Junior title match (Lanzelot has had the advantage over AMAKUSA), the GHC Junior Tag is still not challenged for, the GHC National continues the bitter pre match fight and then in the middle of all of this, is Shuhei Taniguchi. The last day of the tour is tomorrow before Noah return to Tokyo, so the groundwork gets very much laid tonight for the 8th April in Osaka.

The event this afternoon opens at 2pm JST, with the bell sounding at 3pm. The event will be streamed on WrestleUniverse from 18:00 JST on March 29th. Kenoh will be signing autographs beforehand, and never one to be able to stay away long, NOSAWA Rongai will be signing autographs after the event. I don't know if he will get involved or not in any way in the show. For those lucky enough to go, please bring your indoor slippers with you, as shoes are not allowed in the venue.

MATCH ONE
Taishi Ozawa vs Yasutaka Yano

The Noah Born rivalry continues. Ozawa has sworn a revenge win over Yano for defeating him in the past.

MATCH TWO
Masa Kitamiya & Daiki Inaba vs Akitoshi Saito & Kinya Okada

No pre match tonight for Masa Kitamiya and Daiki Inaba, but the fight with Akitoshi Saito is going to be interesting, and I think it will be good for Kinya Okada to get away from the opener and work with some of the older wrestlers, especially Saito.

MATCH THREE
Ninja Mac & Alejandro vs Super Crazy & Xtreme Tiger

With either a new champion or a retaining champion tonight, this match has a feel of extra urgency.

MATCH FOUR
Mohammed Yone vs Saxon Huxley

There is a rivalry developing here, Mohammed Yone was defeated by Saxon Huxley when Huxley made his Noah debut at the Yokohama Budokan. Take Yone away from the feather boas and the flashing glasses, he will be out for revenge in this singles match.

MATCH FIVE
STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa & HAYATA) vs YO-HEY & Tadasuke

YO-HEY and Tadasuke are back, which makes this match a former RATELS squabble, and still, the GHC Junior Heavyweight tag belt has not been challenged for...

MATCH SIX
Naomichi Marufuji, Takashi Sugiura, Shuhei Taniguchi, Atsushi Kotoge & Seiki Yoshioka vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Manabu Soya, Hajime Ohara & Hi69)

Shuhei Taniguchi has incorporated Takashi Sugiura into a weapon to win with, I don't think is what either of his seniors had in mind, or Naomichi Marufuji when he once described Sugiura as "a weapon", and while this isn't a pre-match, his seniors are going to be expecting Taniguchi to perform, to be focused and to win. I wonder if he is going to use Sugi as a weapon again, or even Marufuji?

MATCH SEVEN
GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship Match
AMAKUSA vs Lanzelot

Fans in the provinces will admit that they don't usually get treats like this, so it means a lot to them that they get to see a title match, which are normally reserved for the bigger shows in the big cities (Tokyo, Osaka etc). Lanzelot has had the advantage over AMAKUSA so far, who will need to pull out everything he has over this new and still semi unknown challenger.

MATCH EIGHT
GLG (Jake Lee, Jack Morris & Anthony Green) vs Kaito Kiyomiya, El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr & Yoshiki Inamura

Part revenge match (Yoshiki Inamura, Kaito Kiyomiya & Jake Lee) and part pre match (Jack Morris vs El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr). Jake Lee defeated Yoshiki Inamura in Jake's first Noah singles match, and of course he has taken the title from Kaito Kiyomiya. Jack Morris has challenged El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr for the title, straining their friendship (as Wagner Jnr points out) and not only that, Wagner Jnr refused to let go of the submission hold in their last pre match. This match is going to get ugly on a lot of levels.
