(NOAH) EVENT RECAP: SUNNY VOYAGE 2023 (Aomori Mutsu Maeda Arena, Sunday March 26th)

The road to GREEN JOURNEY 2023 IN SENDAI went up another notch tonight as Noah had their third night of the fourth night of the Tohoku Tour, and the second last event in March, before a crowd of 577 (some fans returned after a long time, in some cases, four years). The event was not streamed live (save the GHC Junior Title match on Noah's Instagram), but you will be able to view this on WrestleUniverse from 18:00 JST on March 29th.

Kenoh was on autographs before the event, with NOSAWA Rongai doing a session afterwards. During the show, NOSAWA remained backstage and didn't get involved with any of the evenings events. He was seen watching from the gallery above, and Super Crazy joined him to watch the GHC Junior title match.

MATCH ONE
Taishi Ozawa vs Yasutaka Yano

Yasutaka Yano has debuted a new costume of blue and white. Fans have many theories from his moving to a level where he will get more involved in belts, to an inheritance of Harada's soul (although Yano is more Yoshinari Ogawa's student than Daisuke Harada's). In the event of things, Yano didn't get involved with either of the junior belts this evening, although I don't think he would dare challenge Ogawa just yet.

Winner: Yasutaka Yano with the Cassadora (6 minutes, 15 seconds)

MATCH TWO
Masa Kitamiya & Daiki Inaba vs Akitoshi Saito & Kinya Okada
Winner: Masa Kitamiya with the Saito Slam on Kinya Okada (11 minutes, 15 seconds)

MATCH THREE
Ninja Mac & Alejandro vs Super Crazy & Xtreme Tiger
Winner: Ninja Mac with the Ninja Bomb on Xtreme Tiger (9 minutes, 15 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
Mohammed Yone vs Saxon Huxley
Winner: Saxon Huxley with Neck Hanging Bomb (5 minutes, 26 seconds)

MATCH FIVE
STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa & HAYATA) vs YO-HEY & Tadasuke
"I have a feeling that HAYATA is going to take action today"

YO-HEY got the win when Tadasuke ducked, and HAYATA caught Yoshinari Ogawa in the face with a kick.

WINNER: YO-HEY with the dropkick on Yoshinari Ogawa (14 minutes, 42 seconds)

With Ogawa lying on the mat, YO-HEY and Tadasuke over him with the tag belt and made their challenge. Once they had gone, HAYATA got back into the ring. I'm not sure of what happened next, but Ogawa shoved HAYATA and the two got into a fight. This is unfortunate, considering that they will be tagging again tomorrow...or will they? Backstage, HAYATA demanded that the card be changed as he didn't want to tag with or have anything to do with Ogawa.

YO-HEY and Tadasuke also spoke backstage. YO-HEY said that getting his belt would prove the reason why Tadasuke had left Kongoh and he had left The Noah Junior Regulars (i.e. because neither were getting results).

MATCH SIX
Naomichi Marufuji, Takashi Sugiura, Shuhei Taniguchi, Atsushi Kotoge & Seiki Yoshioka vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Manabu Soya, Hajime Ohara & Hi69)

Shuhei Taniguchi, in an ebullient mood, yelled "Let's go Senior Sugiura!" and choke-slammed him onto Kenoh. I don't know about Sugiura's reaction, or that of Kenoh's, but Atsushi Kotoge was photographed waving his arms and looking as if to say "WTF", so I can imagine that Taniguchi perhaps was a little wild throughout the match.

WINNER: Katsuhiko Nakajima with the Vertical Spike on Atsushi Kotoge (19 minutes, 59 seconds)

MATCH SEVEN
GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship Match
AMAKUSA vs Lanzelot
WINNER: AMAKUSA with Kaikoku (14 minutes, 5 seconds)

HAYATA then came to the ring and made his challenge.

HAYATA: That belt is mine, can I be the next challenger?
AMAKUSA: Isn't that a stupid question? I was hoping for a duel with you. I would like to ask for a fight that will lead me and the Noah Junior's greatest treasure to the highest heaven.

MATCH EIGHT
Good Looking Guys (Jake Lee, Jack Morris & Anthony Green) vs Kaito Kiyomiya, El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr & Yoshiki Inamura

The referee had his hands full, Jack Morris and and El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr were nose to nose as soon as Wagner Jnr got in the ring, and Kaito Kiyomiya was eager to get at Jake Lee. Yoshiki Inamura, who had stood with his arms crossed and waiting, looked on. Although he was seen to politely clap Kaito Kiyomiya when Kiyomiya was announced.

WINNER: Jack with the Tiger Driver on El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr (21 minutes, 46 seconds)

Jack stood above him with the belt, and later when the opponents had gone, he spoke on the mic to close out the show. He said that Mutsu was colder than he thought (welcome to the countryside, although this is coming from someone from Scotland), but he was able to warm up with everyone, and "Aomori is getting more exciting because now I'm at the helm"
