(NOAH) CARD: SUNNY VOYAGE 2023 (Ishikawa Prefectural Industrial Exhibition Hall No. 3, Sunday July 30th)

Ishikawa's event will be streamed on the 2nd August on WrestleUniverse from 18:00 JST. I am not sure why with there being special guests on the card (Kazushi Sakuraba) and with Keiji Mutoh visiting, that this is not being shown live. This is also the final night before the N-1 begins on August 6th. 

MATCH ONE

Kai Fujimura vs Yu Owada

The young boys open the show with Kai Fujimura determined that this new boy will never be someone who he will lose to. 

MATCH TWO

Mohammed Yone & Taishi Ozawa vs Akitoshi Saito & Super Crazy

Taishi Ozawa takes place in what is predominantly a heavyweight match, in which he will no doubt have some mentorship under Mohammed Yone, Akitoshi Saito and even Super Crazy. 

MATCH THREE

Ninja Mack vs Hajime Ohara

This is the match that Hajime Ohara refused to shake hands with Ninja Mack over, but things might be different by the end of it. Fans have said they would like them to team up.

MATCH FOUR

Good Looking Guys (Anthony Green, YO-HEY & Tadasuke) vs Stallion Rogers, Seiki Yoshioka & Alejandro

This will probably be one of the wilder matches on the card as Anthony Green has a rivalry with Stallion Rogers, about whom GLG have stated is not a friend, and Seiki Yoshioka is a rival to Tadasuke and YO-HEY in the small tournament to decide the number one contender for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Titles. 

MATCH FIVE

Daiki Inaba vs Shuhei Taniguchi

Daiki Inaba said that after the match yesterday, he had noticed something about his movements in the ring, which he is going to bring out in this match today. Whatever Inaba does, Taniguchi needs to be on form tonight, the only member of REAL on this tour recently, he was bested by Lance Anoa'i yesterday in just over five minutes. 

MATCH SIX

HAYATA & Eita vs Yoshinari Ogawa & LEONA

With Chris Ridgeway and DAGA away, Yoshinari Ogawa has not been in a good mood recently as he has been stuck teaming with LEONA, who he appears to have a cold relationship with. For LEONA, no matter Ogawa's mood tonight, he gets to face his obsession, Eita. I wonder if we will see any progression in both terms of a title challenge to HAYATA (DAGA has said he is interested, but he is not in Noah currently) or the dynamics between HAYATA, Eita and Ogawa, especially as Eita has been calling himself "the face of the Noah Juniors". 

MATCH SEVEN

Kenoh, Adam Brooks & Lance Anoa'i vs Manabu Soya & THE TOUGH (Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura)

"Lance Anoa'i. I've memorized your name. Now it's one on one. Just you wait, asshole."

Manabu Soya

Kenoh, Adam Brooks and Lance Anoa'i as well as their opponents are all heavyweights which are in the N-1. Brooks has stated that he's here to win and not make friends, which is both good and bad news, good news as Kenoh isn't here to do that either, and bad news as it means their team may not function very well. Plus, Soya and Anoa'i have a rivalry going on....

MATCH EIGHT

Naomichi Marufuji, AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki vs Kazushi Sakuraba, Atsushi Kotoge & Hi69

Kazushi Sakuraba returns to Noah tonight to team up with two of the Noah Juniors, who are at war with the other two Noah Juniors over the GHC Junior Tag. That is not the end of the matter however, Junta Miyawaki has not been in AMAKUSA'S good graces, with what AMAKUSA considers to be his lack of passion in the ring. I don't know if the match yesterday when he kicked out against Go Shiozaki has improved things, but Sakuraba will certainly be a good test.

MATCH EIGHT

Good Looking Guys (Jake Lee & Jack Morris) vs AXIZ (Go Shiozaki & Katsuhiko Nakajima)

This is the last time until September that these four will be friends as all of them are taking part in the N-1 and Noah have put each team together into the same blocks, Jake and Jack in Block A and Go Shiozaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima into Block B. Tonight they will be in competition with their own partners, perhaps even more than their opponents.
