This is the last show before "Grand Ship in Nagoya 2023" where all the titles will be defended, so tonight is the last of the pre-matches.

GHC Heavyweight Champion: Jake Lee

Challenger: Go Shiozaki

So far neither the champion or the challenger have been able to get the direct pin over one another. Jake Lee bought out a new submission (which he demonstrated on Hi69 right in front of Go Shiozaki), and warned Shiozaki that his arm was going to become "very, very painful". Jake has learned to block to (some extent) Shiozaki's lariats, but Shiozaki did warn him at the press conference that Jake could have his arm, but he would be taking his belt.

GHC Heavyweight Tag: REAL (Saxon Huxley & Timothy Thatcher)

Challengers: Good Looking Guys (Jack Morris & Anthony Green)

Good Looking Guys (who Timothy Thatcher says are not going to be so good looking once they have finished with them), team tonight with Shuhei Taniguchi to take on their challengers for the last time until the title match. Anthony Green didn't do so well against either in the singles pre matches, or in the tag one when he tapped to Thatcher. The pre matches are now over for both.

GHC National Champion: El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr 

Challenger: Psycho Clown

El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr ripped Psycho Clown's mask off of him in the last match at Korakuen Hall, much to the horror (and boos) of the fans, he even went so far as to put the mask on over his own. At the press conference he explained that he wasn't pleased with himself or his actions, and it was something done out of rage. Psycho Clown has warned him that if he thinks what he did to his father (take his mask) was bad for the Wagner family, then what he is going to do in revenge, is going to be worse, and that match is the title match.

GHC Junior Heavyweight: HAYATA

Challenger: Seiki Yoshioka

Tonight is the one and only pre match between the GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion, HAYATA, and his challenger, Seiki Yoshioka. Yoshioka is one of HAYATA'S more dangerous opponents, as he has grown up with HAYATA, the two knowing each other since they were teenagers in the Hiroshima based promotion, WrestleGate. Friends, teammates, rivals - they know each other very very well. HAYATA of course has had nothing to say, other than acknowledging that Yoshioka is "fast", while Yoshioka has said he will be working on more techniques like his finisher, The Crash Driver.

GHC Junior Tag Championship: Vacant

(This will be fought for between Dragon Bane & Alpha Wolf and Ninja Mack and Alejandro after STINGER (Daga and Chris Ridgeway) were forced to vacate the belts due to Chris Ridgeway having to return to England due to personal issues)

The pre matches between the two teams culminate tonight before the title challenge on Sunday, both Alejandro and Ninja Mack have defeated Alpha Wolf and Dragon Bane in separate matches so far, Ninja Mack capitalizing on the brothers inability to work together when facing each other, and Alejandro using an element of surprise.

- Three Noah Born open the show

- LEONA takes a break from teaming with Yoshinari Ogawa, and has a singles match tonight with Hajime Ohara. 

- The last time the three of REAL celebrated, Saxon Huxley almost shoved Shuhei Taniguchi out of the ring. 

- There is no Psycho Clown in Shizuoka tonight, but I wouldn't put it past him to turn up. 

- No doubt Kenoh has no idea of who he is teaming with and what team he is facing, or even what is going on between the two junior teams, he gets to kick around Naomichi Marufuji.
