(NOAH) EVENT RECAP: SUNNY VOYAGE 2023 (Thursday October 26th, Hiroshima Prefectural Hiroshima Industrial Hall West Exhibition Hall, Hiroshima)

I am afraid that as today's event was not streamed live, I don't have too much information on what happened, but it doesn't seem like too much did. Event will be available to view on WrestleUniverse from 18:00 on the 31st October.

MATCH ONE

Atsushi Kotoge, Hi69 & Alejandro vs Kai Fujimura, Taishi Ozawa & Yu Owada

Winner: Atsushi Kotoge with the Upper Knee on Yu Owada (9 minutes, 19 seconds)

MATCH TWO

Masa Kitamiya & Manabu Soya vs Akitoshi Saito & Mohammed Yone

Winner: Masa Kitamiya with the Prison Lock on Mohammed Yone (8 minutes, 28 seconds)

MATCH THREE

Daiki Inaba, Seiki Yoshioka & Hajime Ohara vs Good Looking Guys (LJ Cleary, YO-HEY & Tadasuke)

Winner: LJ Cleary with the Bull Killer on Hajime Ohara (11 minutes, 14 seconds)

MATCH FOUR

Jack Morris vs Ryohei Oiwa

Winner: Jack Morris with the Tiger Driver (8 minutes, 25 seconds)

Jack Morris spoke backstage about the big title challenges coming up; not only is he himself challenging El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr for the GHC National, but, he and Anthony Green are being challenged by Kaito Kiyomiya and Ryohei Oiwa for the GHC Heavyweight Tag titles, so naturally he described himself as being in a "predicament right now", but he warned El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr, that he would win on Saturday. 

MATCH FIVE

El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr & STINGER (Daga & Yoshinari Ogawa) vs Kaito Kiyomiya, HAYATA & Eita

Winner: Daga pretended that HAYATA hit him with a chair to get the win! (14 minutes, 34 seconds)

Backstage, Yoshinari Ogawa left off of saying anything about Kaito Kiyomiya, while El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr said he would make Jack Morris understand why he was the GHC National Champion, Daga told HAYATA that he needed to use his head, as even if he played dirty, then he was still better than him. HAYATA said (with a bit of a smile as he was getting to sass someone), that Daga wasn't so smart, he was just petty. 

MATCH SIX

Los Golpeadores (Dragon Bane & Alpha Wolf) & Xtreme Tiger vs Ninja Mack, TERRY YAKI & Junta Miyawaki

Winner: Dragon Bane with the TwisterBane on Junta Miyawaki (14 minutes, 4 seconds)

MATCH SEVEN

Good Looking Guys (Jake Lee & Anthony Green) vs Kenoh & Stallion Rogers

Winner: Jake Lee with the FBS on Stallion Rogers (12 minutes, 4 seconds)

When Noah were at Korakuen Hall recently, Noah polled a small number of people, as to who they thought would win out of Jake Lee and Kenoh for the GHC Heavyweight title. Overwhelmingly, the result was 31 to 6 in Kenoh's favor. Jake bought this up again in the interview backstage today and said that he would never let those few who voted for him down. To Anthony Green, this match was just a warm-up ahead of the title match. 

MATCH EIGHT

Naomichi Marufuji, Takashi Sugiura & Go Shiozaki vs REAL (Hideki Suzuki, Saxon Huxley & Shuhei Taniguchi)

Winner: Go Shiozaki with the Gowan Lariat on Shuhei Taniguchi (18 minutes)

Backstage (after REAL had roared their way through due to the loss), Go Shiozaki hinted that perhaps "The Noah Trio" with Takashi Sugiura and Naomichi Marufuji may set the tone for the future, he mentioned the match in his hometown of Kumamoto tomorrow and how he wants to win and bring glory there, and regarding Katsuhiko Nakajima's appearance in All Japan, well, he said that "Katsu-san", always causing ripples somewhere. As for AXIZ together one last time on Saturday, he wouldn't call that the last, even though he didn't know what was going to happen in the future, but one thing he did know was that they would be wrapping the venue in AXIZ love. He also touched on Hiroshima, which despite Noah's tragic history there, he described as being "sacred".
