EVENT RECAP: SUNNY VOYAGE 2024 (Sunday March 3rd, Takaoka Ecours, Toyama)

Today's event was not streamed live, and there was no live stream on YouTube, Instagram or otherwise. It's a little difficult for fans and concerns have been raised that WrestleUniverse have raised the subscription price, and did say there would be more live streaming on YouTube or Instagram of matches, and with the Victory Challenge Tag League happening it does make it hard to follow when nothing is streamed. As hard as it is to believe now, this was the state of Noah only a few years ago with no streaming at all, and a few minutes on BattleMen (if you were lucky). Whatever your feelings, the event will be shown on WrestleUniverse at a later date (I will post it when I know it).

MATCH ONE

3WAY MATCH

HAYATA vs Ninja Mack vs Hajime Ohara

WINNER: Ninja Mack pinned Hajime Ohara (6 minutes, 48 seconds)

In his post match promo, Ninja Mack intimated that HAYATA tried to cheat to win again.

MATCH TWO

Good Looking Guys (Anthony Green & Tadasuke) vs Alejandro & Junta Miyawaki

WINNER: Anthony Green with the Bad Looking Face on Junta Miyawaki (11 minutes, 56 seconds)

MATCH THREE

Jake Lee vs Hi69

WINNER: Jake Lee with the FBS (5 minutes, 37 seconds)

MATCH FOUR

Victory Challenge Tag League

Kenoh & Yu Owada vs Masa Kitamiya & Daiki Inaba

WINNER: Masa Kitamiya with the Saito Suplex on Yu Owada (11 minutes, 20 seconds)

Score: Kenoh & Yu Owada - 1, Masa Kitamiya & Daiki Inaba - 3

Masa Kitamiya naturally felt that as he was in his hometown, he couldn't lose, and he felt a sense of fate that the finals would be in Daiki Inaba's, which is Kumamoto.

MATCH FIVE

Victory Challenge Tag League

Takashi Sugiura & Ulka Sasaki vs REAL (Saxon Huxley & Timothy Thatcher)

WINNER: Saxon Huxley with the Neck Hanging Bomb on Ulka Sasaki (11 minutes, 28 seconds)

Score: Takashi Sugiura & Ulka Sasaki - 4, REAL - 4

MATCH SIX

STINGER (Daga & Yoshinari Ogawa) & Super Crazy vs Good Looking Guys (Jack Morris, LJ Cleary & YO-HEY)

GLG were not going to put up with anymore cheating from Daga, and so when Daga hit YO-HEY with a low blow, Anthony Green came running out to protest. While both the referee and Daga were distracted, Tadasuke jumped into the ring and got Daga in a return low blow and one of his devastating lariats, meaning that YO-HEY got the win.

WINNER: YO-HEY pinned Daga (11 minutes, 29 seconds)

HAYATA (in his usual silent manner) came out after the match, and pointed quietly to the GHC National. HAYATA had been hinting at a title challenge since Nagoya yesterday, but nothing further was said. Jack wondered if HAYATA, (who he knew to be someone who doesn't talk much), had made a challenge, and if that was the case, then he would take on his challenge and destroy him in the process.

As for Daga, he complained that he had been ganged up on!

MATCH SEVEN

Victory Challenge Tag League

Kaito Kiyomiya & Ryohei Oiwa vs Los Golpeadores (Dragon Bane & Alpha Wolf)

WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Transformed Shining Wizard on Alpha Wolf (16 minutes, 9 seconds)

Score: Kaito Kiyomiya & Ryohei Oiwa - 5, Los Golpeadores - 4

MATCH EIGHT

Victory Challenge Tag League

TEAM NOAH (Go Shiozaki & Atsushi Kotoge) vs Manabu Soya & Shuji Kondo

WINNER: Go Shiozaki with the Gowan Lariat on Shuji Kondo (16 minutes, 38 seconds)

Score: TEAM NOAH - 6, Manabu Soya & Shuji Kondo - 3

Go Shiozaki closed out the show by promising that he and Atsushi Kotoge would win the GHC Heavyweight tag titles and return to Toyama.
