The card for Noah's inaugural event has been announced. The main event will be a sixty minute tag match between four wrestlers, Misawa, Kobashi, Taue and Akiyama, with three matches each. Moreover, the wrestlers from the winning team will compete in a singles match in the main event on the following day, the 6th. Noah has really not held back, and has been putting out some amazing cards right from the start. The tag match pairings will likely be announced by the time this issue goes on sale, but no matter what the pairing is, it will be a big match that will determine the direction of the promotion.

It seems that almost all of the wrestlers will be renewing their costumes, and attention will be focused on the change in the mindset of each. Furthermore, in addition to these changes in the software, changes in the hardware are also expected. For example, the lighting and other effects. Differ Ariake has a large screen, making it the perfect venue for implementing the "modern" effectsw that Misawa mentioned, so we will be experiencing the kind of pro wrestling that Noah envisions from the get-go. With tickers for the inaugural show selling out in just twenty minutes, Noah is a major promotion, that has been attracting a lot of attention from the start, and so the question remains as to what the wrestlers will show in the actual ring, and what kind of "newness" they will present. You can't understand Noah just by looking at the announced card, you can only get a sense of the "ideal pro wrestling" by listening to the messages that the wrestlers are sending out from the ring. There are only two days left until the inaugural show, so with expectations rising, lets head to Differ Ariake.

Notes
"DEPARTURE": Misawa named Noah's first event this as a way of sticking up a finger at All Japan as he walked out the door. Takashi Sugiura would debut that December, so was not on Noah's first card.
