Yoshiki Inamura, who is currently training overseas, has entered the WWE Performance Centre in Florida, to begin his unprecedented NXT training. (Picture is from Shawn Michael's X post).
It is extremely unusual for an overseas training program with the premise of returning to Japan to take place in WWE (NXT). This was realized as part of the strengthening of the relationship between Noah (CyberFight) and WWE. This summer, two NXT wrestlers, Tavion Heights and Josh Briggs participated in the N-1 VICTORY, but now Inamura will be training in NXT. This is thought to be a kind of an exchange student program.
Inamura participated in the Noah UK Tour in September, and declared that he would stay there and resume his overseas training. However, he said, "I don't intend to stay here forever, and after losing to Josh Briggs (in Osaka on September 1st), I learned how big and powerful the world truly is. So, I'm going to experience the world more and become the best in Noah!"
With Inamura's NXT training underway, Shawn Michaels (HBK), who oversees NXT posted on X, "We are excited to welcome Yoshiki Inamura from Noah to NXT. This hard hitting young man is sure to be a real problem for the NXT guys. It will be exciting to see the partnership between NXT and Noah develop even further."
In addition, footage of Inamura wearing a WWE T-shirt and training at the Performance Centre was also released, where he reunited with Briggs and Heights, and shook hands with his coach Matthew Bloom (Giant Bernard) and others. It will be interesting to see when Noah's Yoshiki Inamura will appear in NXT, where Giulia and others are currently active.
