(NOAH/DONMAI DONMAI) Mitsuharu Misawa's diary ~ 11th January 2008
We look forward to your continued support this year.
Cheers, Misawa.
I hope everyone had a relaxed time from the New Year until now. I feel like I was busier than usual with the year-end and New Year parties. Well, I don't dislike alcohol or drinking situations in general, so it's fine, but it's tough when it continues. I made it through the New Year safely(?) and now I feel like saying "Thank you, stomach and liver." Well, I'm at an age where I am not always getting cocky. With that in mind, I would like to move on to the next question from Tsutomu Hirayanagi, who has changed his name to Genba Hirayanagi. If I had to express last year in one kanji character....hmm, maybe "bonds". Rather than symbolizing 2007, last year was a year in which I felt the weight of "bonds" deeply on many occasions. At this age, there are people who can no longer be contacted for various reasons, such as when things don't go well at work or they become depressed. While I want to treasure my ties, there are also times when I want to cut them off. In any case, I want to treasure them, and that is why I chose the kanji for last year to represent "bonds".
Since things have been a little somber since the start of the New Year, I'd like to share a photo of my conversation with Take2's Fukazawa-san at the beginning of the year. It was a recording for a program that will be broadcast on the Internet. Thank you so much to Fukazawa-san and everyone involved for the wonderful time we had. You can enjoy the conversation from the 2nd February at http://dream-bang.jp/*.
Finally, a question for the next person in charge, Ito. Since it's the beginning of the year, I'll keep it basic. [What do you want to do this year?]. It can be either personal or professional, and dirty jokes are also allowed.
Well then everyone, Noah will do their best in 2008, so please continue to support us this year as well.
This was Misawa. See you in two weeks.
Notes
Dream Bang: I looked this up expecting the worst, but it turned out to be a dead page filled with adverts for traditional Japanese houses from 2021. The website has long gone.
