It is unfortunate that the live broadcast of All Japan Pro Wrestling disappeared from SAMURAI! TV due to the All Japan Pro Wrestling split, but retro programming is still going strong, and you can get a look at the detailed history of the royal history of All Japan on the "All Japan Pro Wrestling Selection", which will be broadcast every Saturday.
On the 26th August, All Japan fans will be able to see the heroic figure of Giant Baba (pictured), against the famous Tiger Jeet Singh. This match, which took place on October 20th, 1989 at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium, is still talked about among fans as the "30th Anniversary Match of Giant Baba's Life as a Wrestler". At that time, Singh formed the most evil duo in history with Abdullah the Butcher, and on the same day's broadcast, they violently fought two matches against the former New Japan duo of Yoshiaki Yatsu and Shunji Takano (now Ken Takano) and the former sumo wrestler duo of Akira Taue and Takagi Isao (now Arashi). Furthermore, Tenryu, who has been cooperating with All Japan Wrestling, teams up with Fuyuki to take on Tsuruta and Kabuki in a thrilling, classic match.
