(NOAH) "Donmai, Donmai" ~ Mitsuharu Misawa's diary ~ 2nd May 2008

Cheers!!
Wow, I'm exhausted... my knees and chest hurt...Lately, I've been complaining a lot...the Bisontennial* hit me right in the chest...I'm sorry to everyone who supported me*. When I was younger, I would have regretted and thought, "Maybe I could have tried harder," but this time at the Budokan, I just couldn't do it any more. I'm sorry. To be honest, it was tough from the moment I entered the ring. Of course I wanted to win, but... I couldn't bear the pain, and the win came quickly. Well, there's no point in rambling on about something that's already happened, so I'll end the story about the match here and move on to the story of Ippei's diary from last week.
Sometimes when I see a old man in a hotel yukata (I'm an old man myself) happily buying a few bottles of beer from a vending machine in a hotel, I feel a certain loneliness running through me. Maybe it's because I don't have many opportunities to drink alone and I think that alcohol is something that everyone drinks together (although it seems that Taue sometimes drinks alone in his room). Either way, it's good to have a sense of happiness, whether it's small or large depending on the person. Ah, Ippei wrote that drinking Chuhai in the bath makes him happy, but I'm sure he was playing with his dick at the same time.

Well, "current affairs" was the topic last time, and Ippei is talking about environmental issues. Or rather, the rooftop garden is a topic that Roppeita Yamaguchi* has at his company (<---- the usual, those in the know will understand). In layperson's opinion, rooftop gardens and solar power generation are very good things, but there must be a reason why they are not so popular. This is not a big topic related to environmental issues, but I remember that in the past, we valued our friends and family much more. If the back of a notice was white, I would save it and use it to doodle, and I would happily doodle on the back of a calendar with crayons. Did you save the packs with the strawberries in them and play with them in the bath? I wonder if there are many kids doing that these days. We used all the disposable Bento boxes too. I wonder if this is what it means to be rich, these days. Even so, it's interesting that Ippei, (who spoils the beauty of his surroundings with his appearance), is talking about environmental issues. That aside, I was relieved to see that Ippei was watching the news. I don't know if he watches it regularly or if he's watching it to find material for this blog, but... yes, it's related to the environment, or maybe it's related to old stories, but nowadays most roads are paved with asphalt, and the only places you see grass growing on the ground are around parks and rivers in cities, but when I was a child there were often roads with grass growing on them, and even when I urinated when standing, I would make the excuse that I was "providing nutrients to the grass". Nowadays, even children urinate while standing, so I don't think they do that, but Ippei would probably take a shit (sorry to those who are eating), because he himself is fertilizer.
Ah, no. I didn't answer Ippei's question on his topic. I love baths and hot springs. But I don't like large hot spring baths. Maybe it's because I'm big and stand out, but people still look at me. I'm sure even I'd be interested if a celebrity was there. Well, maybe I'm just being self-conscious, but no matter how big I am (<----readers, please correct me), it's not something I'd show to other people. I put my feet over the edge of the bathtub, so I can't enjoy drinking Chuhai like Ippei. And I think a bath is basically a place to stretch your arms and legs and feel free, so hotel baths aren't really relaxing for me. To compensate, when I take a bath at home (it's only a little bigger than a unit, and of course I can't stretch my legs), I soak in the bathtub for about thirty minutes. When I shave, I soak for an extra ten minutes. I soak up to my chin in the water to open my pores and use the "steamed towel effect" to prevent razor burn.
In Ippei's case, it's fine when he's alone, but when he goes to a hot spring or takes a bath on a tour with his fans, he makes sure to wash his dick before taking a bath because it's a nuisance to everyone!
To all readers, please do not misunderstand. As I have written many times before, I am only teasing Ippei because he likes it. It's not me being mean.

Well, the next person in question is Shuhei.
Speaking of Shuhei, when did he start walking bowlegged? Also, when you go to the barber, don't drink alcohol before you go because they make you nervous. Or rather, it would be better if you didn't get your hair cut in a place that makes you nervous. Am I the only one who thinks this?
This was a long post again. Misawa has had a lot of injuries lately. This break is short, so I'm not sure if he'll be fully recovered, but he'll take a good rest and do his best on the next tour. If you're in the area, please come and support us at the venue.

See you in two weeks! Misawa!

Notes
Bisontennial: Bison Smith's finisher. You sometimes see this being done still in Noah today by those that knew and/or admired him.
Misawa's apology: He uses highly honorific language. The nuance does not reflect well in the translation, but this would be a moment when someone would cowtow to a senior in apology.
Chuhai: A low-alcohol drink made by mixing clear spirits such as shochu or vodka with carbonated water and adding fruit juice
Yamaguchi Roppeita: "General Affairs Department, General Affairs Division, Roppeita Yamaguchi", a manga from 1985 - 2016.
