(NOAH) "Donmai, Donmai" ~ Mitsuharu Misawa's diary ~ 29th May 2008

Cheers!
On Navi now (<---I know that without you having to say it<---I'm just being sarcastic).
We came here from Tokyo, heading up north. Kendo, Judo, Hokkaido. Misawa is starting off with silly puns.
As expected for Hokkaido, it's really chilly, but for me its just right (raises eyebrows). Navi is now in the final stages, and I'm tired from the matches and the travel (even though it's for social reasons), but I've heard some people say that it's because I drink most of the time and don't go to bed early (<--- I'm just being self-critical here, but I want to finish the final match safely).

I'm sorry for worrying you about my injury, but my sternum is feeling a little better now, and I'm relieved that it doesn't hurt as much when I cough. On the other hand, I hurt my sternum a little, but it's bearable, so it's okay (<---What do you mean it's okay?<--- I'm always rambling on about myself, so I'm fine. But he's having a conversation by himself...) Misawa's knee isn't in good condition, but he wants to get through it somehow. Now that I'm suddenly speaking in a formal tone, I thought I'd answer Aoki's question here, but before that, I'd like to say that the answer he gave me two weeks ago, was not what I wanted to hear. But it was also a typical Aoki answer. (By the way, when I'm on tour, I read most of the wrestlers' diaries. It's a good way to read them during the short breaks I have while traveling.)
Returning to Aoki's answer, it was a little different from what I expected, but that's okay. After all, once summer comes, most people perspire, so you should hurry up and find a girl who will want to wipe away your thick sweat.
Aoki's question is "What do you want to do this summer?" Well, I would like to abandon the moral values that I have been abiding by for the past forty-five years. I'm excited! *wide grin*. So, what exactly does that mean? I'll leave that to your imagination *wide grin*. <---The song you're referring to is by the Pinkara Trio, isn't it? It's "Onna no Michi" (Woman's Path)...and I think it's by Tonosama Kings...and the song title isn't "Onna no Michi" (Woman's Path) but "Namida no Michi" (Path of Tears)...it's so lame...

My question for Shiozaki is of course an update on his current situation. It's been a month since the Tag League ended, so I wonder what he's been up to? We'll meet again in the UK, or rather we will have a match, but please let us know how you are doing, and let us know about your matches.

Well, the day after tomorrow, June 1st, is the Kitaeru event, which will be the last of the tour. There will be a singles match drawn by lottery, and the GHC Junior Tag Championship, which will be the first match between Noah wrestlers in a while, so I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of match it will be. Of course, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the venue, including the wrestlers who will be competing in my match, as well as the other matches. Please cheer the Sapporo tournament, which is the first in six months.
After the Sapporo show, there will be a short break, but on Saturday, June 14th, there will be an event at the Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium. This will be Morishima's first title match since becoming champion. I think it will be a tough match, as he will have to fight not only against the challenger Sugiura, but also against the huge pressure. And for Sugiura, it will be his first time challenging a heavyweight singles title. He must have had a lot of hardships since he started*, and on top of that, he lost the GHC Tag belt. I'm sure his desire for the title is stronger than before. As a wrestler, as a company president, and as a fan, I want both Morishima and Sugiura to do their best, and to have a match that they will both have no regrets about. This is what this title match is all about. Please cheer them on.
The venue is in Yokohama, but it's surprisingly close to downtown Tokyo by train (I always drive, so I'm sorry I don't have much time), and it's on a Saturday, so even if you're from far away, you can still come and see Yokohama!
Oh, speaking of fighting, there is Ippei's fight. Ippei-chan was fighting with shrimp that night in Aomori. I think there will probably be photos in Kotaro's diary, so please enjoy watching Ippei's fight as well. (I'm sorry if they don't appear.)

We are starting to hear talk of the rainy season. The air is getting humid, so let's all do our best to stay healthy!

This was Misawa! See you in two weeks!

Notes
Sugi's hardships: Early Noah footage shows two hapless interviewers wanting to see what Sugi was up to as they toured the dojo. He was exercising naked in his room.
