(ALL JAPAN) The legend of The Tiger returns to Denen Coliseum in midsummer!!! You did it, Tiger Mask II!!

Weekly Pro
11th September 1984 (Issue No.58)

The legend of the Tiger has returned to Denen Coliseum.
August 26th was a memorable day when All Japan Pro Wrestling put all its efforts into a major event, and the second Tiger Mask made his debut. He had risen from junior heavyweight to heavyweight, and his opponent was La Fiera, known as a major star of Lucha Libre, and a a former NWA welterweight champion. It was Plancha Suicida's first visit to Japan, but when he jumped from the top rope, his body arched, it made him a true Lucha star. Tiger Mask, on the other hand, also kept his opponent in check with the occasional kick, but his style was a total Lucha Libre killing technique. The highlight was when he knocked La Fiera out of the ring. He took a run up, jumped over the ropes, spun in the air, and hit La Fiera with a suicide dive. This was the highlight of the match, proving that the second Tiger Mask was undoubtedly a master of aerial technique. The finishing move was a Tiger Suplex 84. Baba answered, "The second Tiger will come up with one special move per year." Baba said that today's Tiger was a 10. I'm really looking forward to seeing what he'll show us next time.

"The Tiger disappeared into the darkness! I wonder when I'll see him again"

~ Baba named the "Tiger Suplex 84" move.
