(NOAH) "DONMAI, DONMAI" ~ Mitsuharu Misawa's diary ~ 11th July 2008

Cheers!
It's hot. It's muggy. I'm sweating. Ippei is..... this is Misawa.

The tour kicked off on June 29th and has now returned to Tokyo, where we are currently on tour. I haven't had any serious injuries, but if you asked me if I was in good health, I'd probably answer "?". But I'll keep my spirits up and do my best until the Budokan.

On another note, during the Tokyo Summit*, there were even more police officers in Tokyo than usual, and I think there were a lot of checkpoints on the main roads. I don't ride trains other than the Shinkansen or limited express trains, so I don't use train stations very often, but it seemed like security was pretty tight at stations in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, on Monday this week, Tanabata Day, there was a lecture. After the lecture, I took the main line from Shinagawa to Osaka, where there were a lot of police officers working. Thank you for your hard work (bows). Sometimes, I am approached by people who work in an exceptional jobs, who say they watch me, but it seems that many police officers also watch professional wrestling. This time, it seemed like there was someone who knew me, and it was a little funny to see them glancing my way while they were working. ...After all, Lake Toya in Hokkaido is a little more like a summit than Tokyo (<--- <---Is that a pun*?) so I made a silly joke.

I was invited to a corporate seminar to give a talk, where I talked for forty minutes, mainly on the founding of Noah and it's future prospects. At first I was a bit worried about how it would turn out, but thanks to the consideration of the organizers, and the moderator, I was able to speak smoothly. However, I would also like to hear the impressions of those who listened to it.

At this point I would like to answer the question from Ito. Before that, I'd like to say thank you for your hard work on the expedition. I'm relieved that you came back with good experiences.

So, the question is... Mexico. It's a bit tricky to answer whether I like it or not. I'm sorry to those who live there, but I don't think I'd want to live there. I went there for what you might call "training*," so I didn't do much sightseeing. And more than anything, Mexico itself is so far away that that it's not a very positive place for me. I don't hate tacos or Corona, in fact I like them, so maybe if I went there now I'd have a different impression of it. That is the end of the answer to Ito's question.
Unfortunately, the next question is for Ippei.
I don't know if Ippei has a summer vacation, but is he going anywhere this summer? Is he planning to do something unique for summer? Please think about it and tell me.

The rainy season is expected to end as early as this weekend in the Kanto region. I don't know if the rainy season has ended in the areas where you are reading this blog, but in order to survive the summer in good health, it is important to take care of your health before the rainy season ends. The real heat is coming, but I hope you will be able to support us at the venue in good health without getting fatigued by the summer heat.
See you in two weeks. Misawa!
