(ALL JAPAN) All Japan Pro Wrestling October 11th = Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium: Tiger Mask wins with a forbidden move (Dragon Suplex) from Fujinami!

Weekly Pro
30th October 1984 (Issue No.65)

Tiger Mask let out a loud roar of victory in his first Osaka showdown. His opponent was La Fiera, nicknamed the "Wild Warrior", whom he faced in his debut match on August 20th.
In his debut match, Fiera had lost to Tiger, but his unpretentious fighting style left a strong impression, so this match was a kind of revenge for Fiera.
The first five minutes after the bell rang, both wrestlers were trying to gauge each other's moves. The bandage on his left elbow, which he sustained at the Takasaki show on the 8th, looked painful, but Tiger Mask's wrestling style remained unchanged. Fans eyes remained on Tiger Mask, who showed footwork that surpassed the lightweight (82kg) Fiera. After performing a somersault from the corner, Tiger got into a fighting stance. He performed a magnificent tiger dance, including a rolling headscissors, a windmill spinebreaker, a front suplex, a dropkick, a senton suicida, and a brainbuster, capturing the hearts of the Osaka natives. But Fiera was just as stubborn, just when it seemed things were getting tough, he cornered Tiger Mask with a Tombstone Piledriver, an aerial bomb, and a Plancha Suicida. However, the difference in skill between the two was clear. Tiger Mask shook Fiera with a hurracanrana, then unleashed a forbidden Dragon suplex, the signature move of New Japan's Tatsumi Fujinami, for a powerful win.
Unfortunately, we couldn't get any comments directly from Tiger Mask himself, but his eyes clearly showed a glint of ambition, as if he were saying, "I want a stronger opponent!"
