Noah's "Mad Prince", Kaito Kiyomiya (29), spoke his mind in an interview ahead of the singles league tournament, the N-1 VICTORY (which opens at Korakuen Hall on 8th September in Tokyo). Having lost his central role in the Ark to his rival OZAWA (28) over the past eight months, Kiyomiya is determined to launch a counterattack in the league...

With the N-1 opening just around the corner, Kiyomiya said with a pleasant smile, "Naturally, I want to win the championship for the second time in a row. And I want to win the most championships. I want to show that I'm outstanding as a singles wrestler." Last year, he won for the second time, tying the record for most wins held by Katsuhiko Nakajima. A consecutive victory would break that record.

Block A, in which Kiyomiya has been entered, is packed with strong contenders, which includes the GHC Heavyweight Champion, KENTA, Manabu Soya, Ulka Sasaki, Kazuyuki Fujita, Tetsuya Endo, Masa Kitamiya and Daga. He named Kitamiya, the dynamic "Chairman" of the dark unit, "TEAM 2000X", as the opponent in the same block he is interested in. He explained with a smile, "When I watch his matches as Chairman, it seems like his rough fighting has been intensified. People don't change that easily, do they? But it seems like he's completely changed, so I'm interested."

However, when asked who he would like to face in the championship match, his mood changed completely. His expression stiffened as he tensed and said, "Of course it's OZAWA. It feels like he's telling me to come up...". This year, he suffered two consecutive losses in his GHC Heavyweight Championship matches, causing a tectonic shift, which is also known as the "OZAWA shock", and losing his place at the center of the Ark. This is why he emphasized, "Anyway, it's revenge. To do that, I have to get through Block A". 

Ozawa also features at the center of the poster Noah created for the upcoming league. Feeling relegated to the sidelines, at the August 25th Korakuen Hall event, Kiyomiya he vented his frustration at Noah declaring in the ring, "Where did all the Kiyomiya support from last year go?". As he spoke of his frustration, perhaps a recollection occurred to him, as he muttered, "No, I'm just jealous, seriously. He's messing with me....", his fists were clenched and shaking violently. 

The Prince, no longer able to control himself, could not hide his jealousy, saying, "Closing out the show before a full house...I always thought it was my job to lead Noah. And now he's done it right in front of me...Damn it!" Staring ahead with wild eyes he continued, "Honestly, this is the most furious I've been in a while. I can't forgive him."

The league match will take place at Korakuen Hall on September 23rd. Will The Strange Man and The Prince meet again there, or...?
