"Right now, there's a lot of buzz about a second Tiger Mask. Pro wrestling fans all over Japan are excited and looking forward to his arrival. But I can't be happy about it. Some people might think I'm weird. Why can't I be happy about it?"

"This is not to say that I have any particular feelings towards the person who was the second Tiger Mask, but I didn't want him to use the ring name "Tiger Mask". The first Tiger Mask, Satoru Sayama, was a wrestler who was very suitable for the role of Tiger Mask. But, he wasn't the kind of wrestler who would stop there. He went on to aim for a new martial art. He even went so far as to throw away the mask of the dream hero known as Tiger Mask...However, I will never forget that there was once a very amazing and strong wrestler called Tiger Mask, who seemed to have really jumped out of an anime. It's so exciting to see so many copies of Tiger Mask appearing. Not only that, it's hard to imagine a Tiger Mask brothers, but there are several in Mexico too (though maybe I'm overthinking it)...but I feel like even a big name like Tiger Mask could become a copycat name, just like ring names like "Assassin" or "Destroyer." I want Tiger Mask, a big name created by the amazing wrestler Satoru Sayama, also known as The Tiger, to remain a big name forever. Forever and ever..."
