(ALL JAPAN) Olympic star Tsuruta joins All Japan Pro Wrestling

Jumbo Tsuruta dominated the Japanese amateur wrestling title in the heavyweight division for two years. After a fierce recruitment battle with various sumo stables and pro wrestling promotions, he joined All Japan, saying, "I was attracted by Baba's personality and sincerity."
Blessed with a great physique and superb athleticism, it's safe to say he'll become a pillar of All Japan in the future.
Upon graduating from Chuo University in March of next year, he will embark on a journey, training in America, touring Texas, Florida, and New York. He's scheduled to make his debut on the Japanese wrestling scene in as little as six months, or at the latest, a year from now. We're all eagerly awaiting the arrival of this super jumbo wrestler, Tomomi Tsuruta, a fourth-year student at Chuo University who is Japan's number one amateur wrestler and a representative at the Munich Olympics. Admiring Giant Baba, Tsuruta, a 195cm, 25kg jumbo wrestler, has become his apprentice.
The addition of Tsuruta brings bright hopes to the future of All Japan.
