(NOAH) Kenta Kobayashi is growing at his own pace, but..."That doesn't mean moving forward slowly"

EXCEEDING OUR DREAMS 2000

Since the second night of the company's founding, Kenta Kobayashi has had few opportunities to compete in shows. In these two consecutive events, he has had the opportunity to challenge seniors wrestlers in singles matches twice in a row. With his contemporary Rikio appearing in the main event as Kobashi's partner, Kobayashi would like to make a big impact with his own presence. As if to capitalize on this feeling, Kobayashi took on Marufuji, his opponent in his debut match. He took advantage of his natural springiness with drop kicks and arm whips, and even showed off his swan-style attack in both. Although he was defeated by a back drop followed by a jackknife, Marufuji commented that Kobayashi had "improved in both his physique and his stamina," and there were clear signs of his growth.
Kobayashi said, "I will continue to do things at my own pace. "My own pace" may sound like I'm moving forward slowly, but if I feel like the time is right, I intend to take action. I see the present as a period of preparation for that."
Kobayashi says he is going at his own pace, but his growth is actually quite rapid. Rikio isn't Noah's only millennium rookie. We mustn't forget about Kobayashi.

Picture notes
Kenta Kobayashi's repertoire of techniques had expanded since the match with Shiga previously. He said himself that he found these two days, "fulfilling"
Regarding the match against Sasaki in Michinoku Pro on the 8th October, Marufuji apparently provoked him with "language that cannot be written in this magazine"
