25th September Osaka Emergency News! Director Aoyagi appeals directly to President Misawa to participate! Who will be accompanying the team to Nagoya on October 11th?
Before the match in Osaka on September 25th, Seishin Kaikan's director, Masashi Aoyagi, visited Misawa and asked him if he could participate in Noah.
"It had always been my dream to make it to All Japan Pro Wrestling, but that dream never came true. However, when I heard that Noah was being formed and they were doing a different style, I thought, 'If that's the case, I definitely want to try it here.'"
Taking Aoyagi's feelings into account, Misawa agreed to the Nagoya show on October 11th, saying, "He wants to compete in all the shows, but I told him that he would do it in Nagoya for the time being".
However, this was something that Director Aoyagi could not accept.
"I wanted people to see me in the series, but I was told that it would only be in Nagoya. If I thought that the only thing that had changed in Noah was the costumes, and there was nothing that resonated with me, then I would have declined."
Although he cannot reveal the name at this time, Director Aoyagi will be heading to Nagoya with a partner. He also seems confident that he will participate in all the shows. What will happen in Nagoya on October 11th?

Naomichi Marufuji and Great Sasuke match signing
In addition to the signing ceremony, the first weigh-in was also held. Sasuke and Marufuji are both overweight at the moment. Sasuke, who just finished his title defense on September 17th, weighed in at 94. It was surprising to see that he was already 7.5kg over the required weight. "It's because I've gained weight," Sasuke said, blushing.

HOTLINE - LET'S CORRESPOND
Mikko (23) from Fujinomiya, Shizuoka wrote "If you are a pro wrestling fan (especially New Japan, All Japan and Noah), I will definitely write back to you, so lets please exchange letters and enjoy matches. Thank you.

What makes Mikko's mundane letter so interesting, is the use of stringing together "New Japan, All Japan and Noah", as these would dominate the next decade or so as "The Big Three".

READERS VOICE - "Kawada's All Japan Departure"
Atsushi Nakayama, Nagano Prefecture

"September 10th is fast approaching at the Tokyo Dome. The highlight is an all-out battle that no one could have predicted a year ago. Now, the friendly matches are gradually becoming more exciting and ending with a battle between two aces. Kawada's first match will be against IWGP champion Kensuke.
Things change quickly in today's world of pro wrestling. If you miss your chance, even a match between two Aces can be cancelled, and it's impossible to predict what the world of pro wrestling will be like a month from now. The match between All Japan and New Japan was something fans were waiting for, but the match against UWF International didn't have much impact.
As Director Nagashima said, no matter how you look at it, Japan right now just doesn't have the stamina. All Japan may end in some sense with this Dome show, but the situation wouldn't change much even if New Japan were to lose all their matches. That's how much the current professional wrestling world revolves around New Japan.
Chono appeared at the Budokan. Even speaking on the mic is rare in All Japan, so Chono's opening was too provocative, so Hase's comment that "All Japan was finished the moment Chono stepped onto the ring at the Budokan" was very spot on.
In this age of multi-promotions and multiple stars, the replacement of top players is no longer a dramatic transition from one generation to the next, as was the case in the past when younger wrestlers competed with each other. There are wrestlers like Misawa who create promotions and become aces, wrestlers like Chono who create independent units* within the promotion, and wrestlers like Muto who have their sights set on overseas. With so many options, there are many cases where interim aces emerge from the wrestlers left behind (that's not to say that Kensuke or Kawada are interim).
The best possible card has been played, and for the sake of All Japan's future, and for the sake of New Japan (which has been saved from the brink of collapse), Kawada has no choice but to win.
All is set.
New Japan has the confidence, while All Japan lacks the stamina, and no one can imagine anything other than Kawada's victory".

Notes
Independent units: Team2000X, who would appear in Noah twenty-five years later, with Chono as an honorary member. But even more ironically, both Chono and Mutoh would (in a way regarding Chono) wrestle their last matches in Noah.
