(NOAH) The challenge to move up has begun...Morishima has a responsibility, so he can't back down!

EXCEEDING OUR DREAMS 2000
25th September, Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium

Morishima was the first young wrestler to bare his fangs at Kobashi, which was a truly surprising development. Everyone has the opportunity to take the plunge, that's the beauty of Noah. So whenever you feel like taking action, it's OK. No one is stopping you. However, this is only possible if you are able to clean up after yourself, which means that from that moment on you are responsible. So, now that he has taken action, what should he do next? That is the situation Morishima finds himself in.
Up until now, it was enough for young people to just work hard. Since they were still in the process of establishing their footing, they were allowed to make mistakes. So with this latest move, Morishima is standing in the ring for the first time with a deep sense of responsibility. The time for him to just work hard is over; in fact, he has put a period on it. However, even if he goes to fight someone senior, it's not easy to get a spot on the card. Opportunities like the one he had today to face Misawa are rare. That's why it was such an important match. Although he ended up losing, he remained spirited until the very end.
He must have felt some sense of accomplishment, because when asked for his comment, he answered "I can't back down now that I've done it, so I guess you could say I'm just being defiant. The seniors probably don't pay any attention to me, but I want to make them change their minds."
If he's crushed by responsibility, he'll never get to the top. Morishima has no intention of backing down.

Notes
~ Misawa didn't flinch at Morishima's elbows, delivered three in a row, but he knocked Morishima down with just one.
~ Even at this early stage, Morishima was bringing out his lariats. He only got the two count with it though.
