(NOAH) He's not Dynamic T anymore, he's Comic T!
(Issue No. 1000)
Navigation - October 8th, Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium
Tonight, Taue was a little different.
In addition to his usual flamboyant fighting style, he also displayed a comical side. Just as his opponent, Ikeda, was about to strike his signature "Lightning!" pose, Taue crept up behind Ikeda, kicked him in the back, and immediately struck the Lightning pose himself. He was met with thunderous applause from the audience.
Ikeda has shown his playful side in the ring before, such as by doing the NO FEAR pose, but on this day, he unleashed a series of gestures that particularly delighted the fans. Ultimately, the winner was Ikeda, who is rumored to be joining the rumored reorganized Untouchables*, but once again, it was Taue who received the applause after the match.
Immediately after Ikeda struck the lightning pose again, which had been interrupted by Taue, Taue, for some reason, suddenly performed the throat-clamp pose that is a familiar sight on Noah's promotional posters. Taue then glared intently at Ikeda, clenching his fists tightly. Despite his stern expression, a somewhat cheerful atmosphere permeated the venue, and the audience erupted in laughter. It was undoubtedly Taue's way of showing his fan service, but it was a gesture that truly reflected his wonderful personality.
Following the extremely intense semi-main event between Kobashi's team and Akiyama's team, the calm tone of this match was a breath of fresh air for the fans. It's nice to have something comical sometimes, not just something dynamic.
