Japanese televisions networks agreed today to try to halt a wrestling craze among schoolboys responsible for at least one death and several injuries.
Parents, schoolteachers and others complain that televised wrestling matches have encouraged the fad. The networks will tell schoolboys not to take their wrestling heroes too seriously - it is dangerous.
BEATS "KING KONG"
The accidents came a day after Ido Rikidozan, Japanese wrestling idol, defeated Singapore's 28-stone "man mountain" King Kong, in a televised bout.
