Active WWE wrestler Omos teamed up with Jack Morris and snatched the GHC Tag Team Championship on their very first attempt.

He had been unveiled as the newest member of TEAM2000X—billed as the "Greatest 'X' in History"—at a press conference held on the 28th. 

Hailing from Nigeria, the 30-year-old made his WWE debut in 2019. This marked his first-ever match in Japan, and his sheer size—standing 221 cm tall and weighing 180 kg—was nothing short of colossal, making an immense impact.

During a media scrum, Omos—contrary to his imposing appearance—spoke of Japan as a "clean and beautiful country" and revealed a surprising side of himself: a love for Japanese anime and manga.

Leveraging his physique, he also competed in the top division of the NCAA during his time at the University of South Florida (Tampa campus).

It is said that he used to consult AJ Styles regarding his matches and studied footage of The Great Muta and Giant Baba for reference. He even received advice from the likes of MVP and The Undertaker.

Just standing in the ring, Omos exuded an immense presence. He made not only Morris but even his opponents—Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura—look like mere children by comparison.

Even when facing two of Noah's leading stars, Omos remained unfazed, confidently declaring, "I don't even know their names, so it makes no difference who shows up." Yet, he remains insatiably hungry, adding, "I want to absorb everything I can from this experience."

True to form, once the match began, he demonstrated the kind of giant-like dominance everyone expected.

Beyond the obvious advantage of his superior size, the sheer impact of every single blow is devastating. Marufuji and Sugiura were left dumbfounded, unable to find any opening to turn the tide; they stood in utter disbelief.

In the end, the match concluded with a double chokeslam (a release neck-hanging bomb) delivered with tremendous drop, pinning Marufuji for the win. It was like an avalanche-style move—slammed down from such a staggering height, it was simply impossible for anyone, even Marufuji, to kick out.

This was not merely a special match; it was a title match. Winning the Noah championship while still under contract with WWE was an extraordinary feat—one that could truly be described as shocking. Naturally, this means he will be defending the title moving forward. In fact, there is even talk of a dream scenario where he defends the GHC belt within WWE.
