(NOAH) I always have a green soul in my heart

Wagner uses Elbow & Emerald Flowsion in his last Noah match.
Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. first came to Japan in 2017. He became a regular participant in Noah in August 2019. Despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, he remained active for over five years, winning the GHC Heavyweight, National, and Tag Team Championships.
He etched his name into history by becoming the first Mexican wrestler to capture a top-tier championship in a Japanese promotion.
On this day, Wagner competed in his final match for Noah. He wore an entrance gown and ring gear inspired by the promotion’s founder, Mitsuharu Misawa. Fans, armed with signs and cheering at the top of their lungs, created an electric atmosphere to bid him farewell.
It was a truly emotional entrance—one that spoke volumes about the level of trust they had built with each other.
In the match, Wagner defeated LJ Cleary. After channelling Misawa by shouting "Misawa!" before delivering a rolling elbow, he transitioned into a Wagner Driver setup—only to shout "Michinoku!" and execute an Emerald Flowsion to secure the three-count. Much like his choice of ring gear that day, this final match in NOAH served as a testament to the sentiment: "A green soul, always in my heart."
After the match, Wagner took the microphone and said, "For me, Noah is home—it’s family. Thank you for these past five years." As chants of "Gracias!" rang out from the crowd, he promised, "I will definitely return here. See you again!" He then planted a kiss of gratitude on the ring’s logo before making his exit.
Backstage, he pointed to a tattoo on his right arm and said, "Noah is in my heart. I will carry it with me for the rest of my life." The reason he developed such a deep attachment to this foreign land is well-known, but it is worth recounting once more.
Wagner made his professional wrestling debut in 2009.
In Mexico, it is often said that third-generation wrestlers struggle to make a breakthrough, as they remain overshadowed by their illustrious fathers and grandfathers, and, to be honest, he himself had previously failed to gain any real traction.
However, by forging his own path in Noah, relying on his own efforts rather than his family lineage, he climbed from the very bottom to reach the pinnacle of the sport. This transformation has completely shifted how he is perceived back in his home country. Now recognized as a world-class athlete, he has become a highly sought-after talent, receiving offers for over ten matches this past December alone.
Given that history, Wagner has always felt a deep sense of indebtedness toward Noah, the promotion that transformed his life. It is for this reason that, in order to carry forward the legacy passed down from his grandfather and father, he arranged for his younger brother, Galeno del Mal, to join "All Rebellion"—the faction led by Kaito Kiyomiya.
At the same event, an interaction backstage with OZAWA led to the confirmation that Galeno will challenge for the GHC Heavyweight Championship at Korakuen Hall on February 11th. Although Wagner is moving on from NOAH, his younger brother will carry his aspirations forward in the ring.
