VS TADASUKE & HAOH
Title match: 11th July 2021, Sendai Sun Plaza
Tadasuke challenged Daisuke Harada & Hajime Ohara for the GHC Junior Heavyweight tag titles on the 27th June at "MUTA The World" after he had pinned Hajime Ohara in a ten man tag. On the microphone, Tadasuke said ~
"I have been thinking about this for a while...you guys are boring! Take a look! The belt is pitiful. It's shining. Let Haoh and I challenge"
Comically, Tadasuke kind of turned his head to check where Nioh was, and then caused a fight with Momo No Seishun by picking up one of the tag belts and draping it over his shoulder. Backstage, Daisuke Harada said they would accept their challenge and to, "prepare yourself, assholes". Tadasuke's response was to say that the belts looked dull with Momo No Seishun as champions, and that it would be up to them (Kongoh) to give the belts some "boom" instead.
The first pre-match between the two teams took place at "UP TO EMOTION 2021" on the 30th June 2021. Hajime Ohara, in his best "I'm very mad at you" moment, marched across the ring and attacked Tadasuke. This very aerial match was to be the start of Ohara's revenge for being pinned the last time. The crowd were as excited as the wrestlers, and Haoh certainly felt this in an exuberant top rope somersault which almost sent him crashing into the crowd. Somewhat painfully he landed on the railings. Tadasuke and Haoh worked in tandem, using new moves that neither of them have used before as a team. However, it was Daisuke Harada who represented the wall that Tadasuke would come up against, but it was Haoh who he got the win over.
WINNER: Daisuke Harada with the Katayama German Suplex on Haoh (12 minutes, 40 seconds)
Harada decided to taunt Tadasuke after the match. It doesn't really translate well what he said, but what he basically told Tadasuke was that in Sendai he would kick the match off with a "Kaboom".
The last pre-match (Yokohama Radiant Halls, 3rd July 2021 ~ "UP TO EMOTION")
Masa Kitamiya, Kaito Kiyomiya & Momo No Seishun (Daisuke Harada & Hajime Ohara) vs Kongoh (Katsuhiko Nakajima, Manabu Soya, Haoh & Tadasuke)
Katsuhiko Nakajima wasn't the only person winding someone up, Tadasuke was doing the same to Daisuke Harada. Harada dealt with him quickly and in a comical moment, Ohara threw Tadasuke from the ring. The laughter stopped there however as Kongoh made Harada their target as Tadasuke set the heavyweight Manabu Soya on him. Nakajima was no better, and I think the referees must have had a meeting where they all agreed that no-one was going to count Nakajima's cocky pin as once again he was told to do the pin properly. Nothing that Kongoh could do to Harada was going to stop Tadasuke from being his target.
The match almost ended with a double submission with Harada and Haoh and Ohara and Tadasuke, Tadasuke would have quit if it hadn't been for Haoh escaping and rescuing him. Tadasuke had been wrestling the pre-matches not as his usual wild self, but cool and collected almost, and it paid off.
WINNER: Tadasuke with the Outcast on Hajime Ohara (24 minutes, 8 seconds)
Tadasuke spoke on the mic to Daisuke Harada and Hajime Ohara ~
"Do you guys think it is okay if you only win the title match? In tags we have won two matches. Because you guys are boring, you can polish up the belts for Sendai and make them shine"
Then came the match signing on the 5th July, at which Tadasuke was at his rock star best, showing up in a suit, hair loose and wearing his aviator shades throughout. Daisuke Harada was gnashing his teeth in fury
TADASUKE: Its such a cheap provocation, but let me say it plain and simply, one person is angry and the other one is just oh, what is "Dokan?" Hey! Tell me! What is "Dokan"? I won't go home until I hear the answer!
HARADA: Dokan! It's "Dokan!" Do you understand?
TADASUKE: So what is "Dokan"
HARADA: "Dokan!" Nothing more, nothing less! "Dokan" is "Dokan!"
TADASUKE: So what is "Dokan"?
HARADA: How many times do I have to say it? "Dokan" is "Dokan"! Remember that!
TADASUKE: Ha! Ha! Ha! "Dokan", don't say it then if you don't have a punchline! Blowing up by yourself!
At the title match Tadasuke entered like a rock star walking out on stage, and as ever, preened to the fixed ring post camera. To Daisuke Harada there was only one opponent in the match, and the one who winds him more than anyone, to Tadasuke Harada is the wall he cannot quite get around having faced him (and failed) numerous times in title matches. Tadasuke took the opportunity to taunt Harada when in the ring, at one point even dusting his hands after dealing with him. Harada gnashed his teeth and sunk them in. Tadasuke however barely noticed, his manic grin growing bigger which usually means he’s either powering up or getting carried away. He came very close to winning at several points, even with the new finisher he has added to his repertoire.
Hajime Ohara was fighting for redemption, having done dismally in the pre-matches and letting his side down. Leaving Tadasuke pretty much to Harada (it’s a RATELS squabble and he knows to stay out of that), his focus was on Haoh who he tore apart by submissions. Haoh was saved the first time during a double submission by Tadasuke, but in the second time with his shoulder torn back and his foot almost touching his head, he had no choice but to tap.
WINNER: Hajime Ohara with the Mui Bien on Haoh (18 minutes, 59 seconds)
The pre-matches were not encouraging initially, Seiki Yoshioka defeated Daisuke Harada in a tag after 18 minutes 30 seconds at Korakuen Hall on the 22nd July, Harada clawed back some pride for Momo No Seishun/The Noah Junior Regular Army when he defeated Susumu on the 23rd July. He also scored another victory over the hated STINGER when he knocked them out of the Noah Junior elimination tournament with a victory over Seiki Yoshioka.
The German Suplex had proved effective, but the title match was different. Seiki Yoshioka has fast become Daisuke Harada's new Hajime Ohara. The exchanges between the two were light speed, even the cameras seemed to have problems picking it up. This contrasted with Hajime Ohara and Yuya Susumu, who tended to be more slow and methodical. Hajime Ohara had promised at the match signing that he would stretch STINGER from one end to the other with a special Mui Bien, and he made good his promise. However, Susumu came in to make the save before Yoshioka could tap, something he would continue doing despite how many times Harada threw him out of the ring and tried to keep him there.
The match swung between STINGER being on top and then Harada and Ohara, Susumu assisting or Harada assisting, and both teams pulling out everything they had.
WINNER: Seiki Yoshioka with the Crash Driver on Hajime Ohara (20 minutes and 23 seconds)
Next Champions: STINGER (Seiki Yoshioka & Yuya Susumu)
