(NOAH) CARD: STEP FORWARD 2022 (Friday 11th February, Korakuen Hall, Tokyo)

Noah finish up their final three days at Korakuen Hall with a very mixed card. No title matches this evening, but a pre match and the culmination of Go Shiozaki's "Road to GHC" series, which has so far ended in one referee stop and two defeats. The event starts at 18:30 JST, and will be broadcast live on WrestleUniverse. You must be a subscriber to view.

MATCH ONE

Perros Del Mal De Japon (NOSAWA Rongai, Kotaro Suzuki & Super Crazy) vs The Kongoh Juniors (Tadasuke, Nioh & Aleja)

It's a wild way to open the show as two of the Noah Junior's most volatile units go to war.

MATCH TWO

Takashi Sugiura, King Tany & Junta Miyawaki vs Kazushi Sakuraba, Mohammed Yone & Kai Fujimura

Noah have loved mixing things up recently and rather than keeping to the format of unit vs another unit, they have jumbled it up and made it unit vs unit. Tonight Takashi Sugiura gets the pleasure of teaming with King Tany (who tends to play his disco tendencies down when around his seniors) and young Junta Miyawaki, against his own unit member Kazushi Sakuraba, King Tany's unit member Mohammed Yone and Kai Fujimura who tonight moves up the card and to a bigger match.

MATCH THREE

Kongoh (Katsuhiko Nakajima & Manabu Soya) vs Yoshiki Inamura & Kinya Okada

Yoshiki Inamura and Kinya Okada are in line to get a big win here tonight, both are hungry to advance, but it's Okada who really needs to catch that big break. Noah fans are in for a final night hoss fight treat.

MATCH FOUR

The Noah Junior Regulars (Daisuke Harada, Atsushi Kotoge, Hajima Ohara & Haoh) vs STINGER (HAYATA, Yoshinari Ogawa, Yuya Susumu) and Yasutaka Yano

What's a last night without the Noah Junior's getting into mass brawls, melee fights, storming the ring and ignoring both the referee and the bell? No water from STINGERS opponents, no box being bought to the ring full of bottles tonight, but STINGER aren't above being underhand.

MATCH FIVE

Seiki Yoshioka vs YO-HEY

The title match isn't really about STINGER vs Perros Del Mal, but more about YO-HEY and Seiki Yoshioka having a long running grudge which they are yet to settle. This is not their last pre match before the title match, but this is their only singles.

MATCH SIX

The M's alliance (Naomichi Marufuji, Masato Tanaka & Masaaki Mochizuki) vs Kaito Kiyomiya, Masa Kitamiya & Daiki Inaba

Naomichi Marufuji and Daiki Inaba pick up where they left off, which is fighting outside the ring and then brawling backstage. Masato Tanaka and Kaito Kiyomiya also pick up their rivalry. I wonder if something new will happen between Masaaki Mochizuki and Masa Kitamiya?

MATCH SEVEN

Go Shiozaki's "Road to GHC" Series

Go Shiozaki vs Kenoh

This is Go Shiozaki's last chance to get a win in a series that has seen one referee stop and two pins. His match on the 10th was hopefully a turning point with Naomichi Marufuji showing him that it is okay to bring out new things, to change and adapt without abandoning his values. It remains to be seen if Shiozaki can put those lessons into practice. One win might not be enough to bring him back to the level he has set, but it may well be enough to encourage him to continue the road.
