GRAND SHIP 2022 in NAGOYA PRO-WRESTLING & KEIJI MUTOH RETIREMENT ROAD - LOVE FOREVER.2 ~OUT BREAK~ (Sunday September 25th, Dolphins Arena, Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium, Nagoya)

Kenoh crawled (literally) to the back, this is the second time that he has failed to defeat Kiyomiya for the title. This was a far cry from this "green boy" he snarled at in 2017 for challenging him. Kiyomiya had already chosen his challenger; Kazuyuki Fujita and called him out.
Fujita appeared on the ramp and toasted Kiyomiya with a can of beer, he got into the ring silently and after taking his t-shirt off circled Kiyomiya and then hugged him, making a licking motion on the belt.

Kiyomiya shoved him away and Fujita poured beer on his head and into his mouth, Kiyomiya spat it at him and the two got into a scuffle.

Politely, Kiyomiya held the belt up and grabbed the mic, yelling that he didn't even like beer, but Fujita just left yelling loudly "KAMPAAAAIIII!" ("Cheers"). The championship match has been set for the 30th October at Noah's homecoming at the Ariake Arena. This is poignant for Kiyomiya as he is from the last generation who knew Differ.

Backstage, Kiyomiya explained why he had nominated Fujita, He hadn't defeated him yet. None of the preceding champions had as Fujita had to relinquish the belt due to Covid, and there had been a feeling amongst the successive champions that in order to be the absolute champion, you had to defeat Fujita. Kiyomiya had another reason too, he felt that too much attention was paid to Mutoh and Fujita, and it was defeating the object of Noah's young to make their own mark and spread their own pro wrestling.

STAR NAVIGATION 2022 (Friday October 7th, Korakuen Hall, Tokyo)
MATCH SEVEN
Kaito Kiyomiya & Yoshiki Inamura vs Kazuyuki Fujita & Hideki Suzuki

Naturally the GHC Heavyweight Champion started the match with Kaito Kiyomiya fighting Kazuyuki Fujita. Unusually for Kiyomiya, he actually slapped him whole on a rope break. Fujita liked this, it looked like someone had lit up a promenade, or in Fujita's case made a fountain flow with highballs.

Hideki Suzuki and Yoshiki Inamura had a test of strength, which Inamura initially won, getting Suzuki to his knees. Kiyomiya had described Suzuki as "eccentric" in an interview, and Suzuki it seems had taken this on board in their first match since the issue in which it appeared, but Suzuki's interactions were pretty much with rival Yoshiki Inamura, whom he didn't throw to the mat by his leg and then loom over like he did Kiyomiya.  The commentators were lost for words, except to say that Inamura was cool, when he threw Hideki Suzuki around the ring - a bear hug lift to the corner and at one point, even over the top rope by his hair and a sustained attack following that
Kiyomiya was in the ring as they fought outside, Fujita softening up with elbows and a Shining Wizard. Fujita also experienced Inamura's awesome strength which suddenly seems to have come crashing to the forefront in Noah.

WINNER: Kazuyuki Fujita with a Power Bomb on Yoshiki Inamura (16 minutes, 37 seconds)

Fujita grabbed Kiyomiya by his hair when he was leaning over Inamura and did the same nuzzling and licking motion until Kiyomiya pushed him off and into the ropes where he got him by his throat. Human words were beyond Fujita, and The Beast just roared.

ABEMA presents DEMOLITION STAGE 2022 in FUKUOKA (Fukuoka International Centre, Sunday October 16th )
Kaito Kiyomiya, Daiki Inaba & Yoshiki Inamura vs Kazuyuki Fujita, Takashi Sugiura & Masato Tanaka

Kazuyuki Fujita turned fifty-one today, and before the event was presented with a cake by Rina Matsui. Fujita the gentleman thanked her politely for it, but as soon as she was gone turned back into The Beast he is, and proceeded to tear into it. He even licked the tray it was on with icing all over his face.

As this was the last pre match between them, Kaito Kiyomiya and The Birthday Beast, started the match. Kiyomiya had learned a few times how to dodge Fujita's soccer ball kicks and how to wear him down, but Fujita almost beat him into the mat reversing some punches and then pulling the boy to his feet and slapping him, Kiyomiya screamed back and told him to come on. However, he didn't dodge the kicks the third time or the fourth time and then Fujita prolonged the torture by breaking the pin before slamming him into the mat.

WINNER: Kazuyuki Fujita with the Powerbomb on Kaito Kiyomiya (16 minutes)

Pulling Kaito Kiyomiya up, Fujita once again gave him a hug and then nuzzled into him. Groggily, Kiyomiya pushed him away and Fujita rolled out of the ring, grinning as he walked away. Later he described Kiyomiya as his "prey".

Title Match: [Muto Retirement Road] ABEMA presents Ariake Gaisen-THE RETURN-PRO-WRESTLING LOVE FOREVER . 3 ~TRIUMPH~

For the main event, Noah ran a video that was like a Halloween mini movie, It involved Kaito Kiyomiya, walking along a deserted street, bathed in a green light when he came across a giant monster who was bathed in the light of the moon and glowing with a blue light (which is the color of the underworld). The monster of course was Kazuyuki Fujita, who was grinning at him evilly and blocking his path. Kiyomiya apparently continued his stroll, looking behind him as he walked.

Kiyomiya wasn't as scared coming to the ring as he was in the video. He debuted both new ring wear and new theme music, "Explosion Soul". Personally, I think he had outgrown the "Supernova" theme music, which became increasingly unsuitable for him, as he was no longer the idealistic young boy the music seemed to suggest.

Fujita was brutal, wearing Kiyomiya down by working on his legs, prolonging the torture by kicking Kiyomiya in the head and then putting him in a submission, The Fujita Bomb and the audible blows which echoed around the already wound up crowd. Attacks on Fujita by Kiyomiya only made him mad, and when it looked like Kiyomiya was getting a headway by attacking Fujita's head, The Beast bounced back angrier and stronger than ever. Kiyomiya even pulled out a moonsault from the top turnbuckle to the outside, and did some soccer ball kicks of his own. It was at this point that Fujita became really mad and the straps came down. Kiyomiya went for a desperation move by using the good old reliable Frankensteiner that Keiji Mutoh (and Takashi Sugiura for that matter) had both used to win titles and matches, for the win. Fujita reacted in rage, shoving the referee down. As he left in disbelief, shaking his head, Kaito Kiyomiya's next challenger came to the ring.

VS Timothy Thatcher

Thatcher told Kiyomiya that he was here to challenge the "top guy in Noah" for the GHC Heavyweight.

SUNNY VOYAGE 2022, Kiramesse Numazu (Thursday, November 3rd)
Kaito Kiyomiya, Yoshiki Inamura & Funky Express (Akitoshi Saito & Mohammed Yone) vs Takashi Sugiura, Satoshi Kojima, Timothy Thatcher & El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr

As soon as Kaito Kiyomiya entered the ring, Timothy Thatcher gave him a look that was unflinching and halfway between a snarl and a glare. Thatcher took him very much into mat wrestling, and throughout the course of the match, Kiyomiya found that Thatcher is very much like Ogawa in a way. He's always waiting for you and is usually one move ahead. The second time round, Kiyomiya had figured out a little more about how to get round Thatcher, but Thatcher seemed to have figured out more about him.

The match was won by Thatcher, who made the GHC Heavyweight Champion tap in their one and only pre match to the Fujiwara Armbar. He taunted him afterwards over this.

WINNER: Timothy Thatcher defeated Kaito Kiyomiya with the Fujiwara Arm Bar (19 minutes, 59 seconds

GLOBAL2days WRESTLE UNIVERSE presents Global Honored Crown (Thursday, November 10th)

Kaito Kiyomiya approached the match slowly, knowing he needed to work out Timothy Thatcher as he went along. If the pre match had taught him anything, it was that he needed to avoid the Fujiwara Armbar at all costs. Thatcher went for the Fujiwara Armbar very early on, and fortunately for Kiyomiya he managed to get out quickly and escape the ring, but it was enough to make him wince. Once back in the ring, Thatcher didn't go for it again right away, he worked on wearing other parts of Kiyomiya down, in particular his legs and feet, later it was his neck and then it was blows and jabs. Kiyomiya managed to escape the Fujiwara Armbar twice. By the third time, Kiyomiya had learned that against a seemingly unbeatable opponent, surprise and momentum was often the best weapon, however, two can play at that game and Thatcher reversed the Tiger Suplex into the Fujiwara Armbar. Thatcher would not let go, and even made it worse by pulling Kiyomiya up and then down back into the depths. Fortunately, he was near the ropes, and Kiyomiya was saved. Thatcher even reversed the Shining Wizard into the Fujiwara Armbar, but Kiyomiya kept on and countered with a string of them for the win.

WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Transformed Shining Wizard (37 minutes, 27 minutes)

vs Kenoh
ABEMA presents NOAH "THE NEW YEAR" 2023 (Sunday January 1st, Nippon Budokan)

GLOBAL2days WRESTLE UNIVERSE presents Global Honored Crown (Thursday, November 10th)

Kenoh, who had been on commentary, made his way down to the ring.

"Hey, Kiyomiya, you did your best in today's title match too. Just! You "just" tried your best. Even elementary school students can "just" do their best. So, what are you left with today? What can you create? What can Noah create? On January 1st at the Nippon Budokan, The Great Muta vs Shinsuke Nakamura has taken the subject from the champion, and what are you doing? Working hard? You can't win with just that! Muta vs Shinsuke Nakamura...who can win in terms of the subject...Brock Lesnar, Dwayne Johnson...The Rock. No, it's The Rock and me, Kenoh! Well, I know that I'm no match for Rock, but I have that kind of will! I will save Noah from danger. It's not Muta vs Nakamura. I will challenge you for your belt, and I'll take away the topic!"

Kiyomiya responded,

"Maybe, I am just trying my best. But what will you create? I will create a new Noah! So you and I, let's fight for real! I don't want to lose anything on social media or by transmission, so please, fight all out against me."

Kenoh

"January 1st, Nippon Budokan, you are not the one who will surpass Muta vs Shinsuke Nakamura. I will exceed by myself, and the one who will take this belt is me, Kenoh!"

Title match has been set for The Nippon Budokan on the 1st January 2023. It is also Kenoh's birthday, and he has an ongoing dream of winning the belt there and then, each year that comes round. Tomorrow they also have a tag match against each other at Noah vs DragonGate, which I guess is now their first pre match.

GLOBAL2days WRESTLE UNIVERSE presents GLOBAL DREAM (Korakuen Hall, Friday November 11th 2002)
Kaito Kiyomiya & Yuki Yoshioka vs Kenoh & Kouta Minoura

Kenoh was right there the moment Kaito Kiyomiya entered the ring to yell at him, Kiyomiya, knowing well how to deal with Kenoh simply held up the belt. Kenoh wanted Kiyomiya, but Minoura told him no, let him, he would start against him. Kiyomiya's arm was heavily taped after the match with Thatcher yesterday. Kenoh had to contend with Yuki Yoshioka for the time being, although he did take a shot at Kiyomiya by a boot to the face which knocked him off the apron. Yoshioka, however, is a far more threatening champion than Kiyomiya and kept Kenoh busy. When Kiyomiya and Kenoh did fight, Kenoh was yelling at Kiyomiya to "just do your best", which Kiyomiya said yesterday after the title challenge, that he agreed with. During the match, Kenoh brushed off some of Kiyomiya's moves, but worse was to come. He reversed the Shining Wizard in vicious style which caused an outcry from the crowd when he reversed the ankle lock and then followed it up with a kick. Kiyomiya too knows Kenoh well, but his efforts were not enough to stop Kenoh getting the pin.

WINNER: Kenoh with the Ring of Fire on Kaito Kiyomiya (21 minutes, 53 seconds)

A sarcastic Kenoh promo followed;

"Kiyomiya! You did a great job on the day after the title match that lasted over 30 minutes. Go back to the locker room as soon as possible, get some kind words from everyone, and drown yourself in self satisfaction. Thank you for your hard work today, you did a GREAT job"

NOAH the BEST 2022 (Wednesday November 23rd, National Yoyogi Stadium 2nd Gymnasium)
Kaito Kiyomiya, Satoshi Kojima & Masa Kitamiya vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima & Manabu Soya)

Kenoh and Kaito Kiyomiya faced up right away, but cooler heads prevailed and Katsuhiko Nakajima and Satoshi Kojima started the match, but not right away as Nakajima was wasting time. Kongoh enjoyed roughing up the champion on behalf of Kenoh. Kenoh even sat on the top turnbuckle to attack Kiyomiya, and didn't even look like he felt it when Kiyomiya aimed a flying punch at him in retaliation.
Nakajima asked for someone to wake him up (from his jetlag), I'm pretty sure that the Kojima chops did just that, and his poor hostile younger brother, got the Shutter Chance.

Kenoh even at one point smashed Kiyomiya's head into the mat repeatedly and then strode around the ring telling the fans to cheer for Kiyomiya who was "trying his hardest". Fans did just that and chanted "Kai-to! Kai-to!" loudly.  Kenoh seemingly has found out two ways to counter the Shining Wizard, but on the third, Kiyomiya also countered him, and did one to the back of Kenoh's head

WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Transformed Shining Wizard on Kenoh (18 minutes, 6 seconds)

Kiyomiya, who had a bloodied nose, spoke on the mic to Kenoh, who was sprawled out on the mat;

"What are you? Losing to the guy who you say is "just trying his best?" In the end, you are all mouth, aren't you?"

SUNNY VOYAGE 2022 (WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 14TH, AIZUWAKAMATSU CITY CULTURAL CENTER)
Kaito Kiyomiya, Takashi Sugiura, Satoshi Kojima, Atsushi Kotoge & Seiki Yoshioka vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Manabu Soya, Tadasuke & Hajime Ohara)

Although the match focused pretty much on Kenoh and Kaito Kiyomiya's feud, there was some comedy between Kenoh and Satoshi Kojima (who hit it off during their title match feud), when Kojima went to yell "Let's go..." and Kenoh clamped his hand over his mouth. As for the champion and his challenger, Kenoh and Kiyomiya later got into a fight outside the ring, while inside of it, Kenoh countered The Shining Wizard with a chokehold.

Winner: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Shining Wizard on Hajime Ohara (17 minutes, 56 seconds)

After shoving the belt in Kenoh's face after the match, and unusually for him, speaking aggressively as Kenoh left the ring. Once Kongoh had gone, and with his seniors looking on (pretty much everyone in his team), Kiyomiya spoke on the mic saying;

"On January 1st, there will be the Nippon Budokan event. I want you to come to the venue, but even if you can't come, and it doesn't matter if it is on the screen or whatever, no matter what, come and see us fight. I will defeat Kenoh and create the beginning of "our wrestling".
