Kaito Kiyomiya to participate in New Japan's G1 Climax 2023
For the first time in about seven years Noah will have one of their own entering the G1 Climax, this time, Kaito Kiyomiya. Kiyomiya has been placed in Block A, which has been called "The Block Of Youth", due to the presence of Kiyomiya and the other entrants; Yota Tsuji, Chase Owens, Shota Umino, SANADA, Gabriel Kidd, Hikuleo and Ren Narita. Kiyomiya is not amused that he hasn't been put in the same block as Kazuchika Okada, who he stalked round the ring at ALL TOGETHER AGAIN, and left yelling at "not to run away" at the end of the event. Due to his participation in the G1 climax, Kiyomiya has opted to drop out of Noah's N-1 VICTORY, and will be absent from Noah from the 15th July to 27th August. He has vowed to return victorious.

ALL TOGETHER AGAIN
- Chris Ridgeway said he was interested in Zack Sabre Jnr's belt, while Zack himself was interested in coming to Noah with TMDK, and wondered where Yoshinari Ogawa was. Nothing more has been said so far about this challenge.
- Ren Narita said he wanted a singles match with Naomichi Marufuji.
- Kenoh and Kazuchika Okada actually got along (with a little help from Yuma Aoyagi), and somehow the most dysfunctional team came together to win the match, thanks to Okada pinning Hiroshi Tanahashi.
- HAYATA, who I don't think found the two days easy (and who was hiding behind the GHC Junior belt), said he wasn't going to be taking part in another event like this.

Kongoh lose the All Japan World Heavyweight Tag to Kento Miyahara and Yuma Aoyagi
Following ALL TOGETHER AGAIN, Kento Miyahara made one of his sudden appearances in Noah. This time it was at the Yokohama Radiant Hall event on the 10th June, and he came to challenge Kenoh and Manabu Soya for the titles. Kenoh accepted it (after telling Miyahara that he was kind of a loser, but he did come down all the way to Yokohama before a match out of town tomorrow), but the match would have to be in Noah.

Considering himself a "generous superstar" Miyahara accepted, and left the ring, probably picking up a Kongoh t-shirt on the way out, which he would wear the next day to wind Kenoh up. Kenoh was invited to second Manabu Soya in his match against Yuma Aoyagi, which he accepted. While he was there, Kenoh noticed that the attendance was not as good as Kenoh thought it would be, and so after Soya won the match he told Miyahara that he would have the match in All Japan after all, but the attendance at Korakuen Hall had better be better than what he was seeing and had seen. Kenoh (who did a "Kenoh Channel" video, where he asked the lady in the ticket booth at Korakuen Hall about whether there was enough tickets for Noah fans), may have had a sense of eating his own words a bit, as thanks to a pin on Manabu Soya, Kongoh lost the tag belts. Kenoh later said that he wasn't going to give up on his dream of having the rights to the belts transferred to Noah, and defending them in Noah's ring. As for Kento Miyahara, he wasn't finished with Kenoh just yet, he warned him that he would be seeing him in Tokushima, which is Kenoh's anniversary show. I should mention that Miyahara is not on the card.

TITLE NEWS

GHC HEAVYWEIGHT
The final pre match was fought on the 10th June at Yokohama Radiant Halls. The match itself ended with Jake Lee getting the win, but not over Takashi Sugiura. The whole match was spent with the two sending messages to each other, Sugiura looking over at Jake and seldom looking away whenever he was in the ring with anyone else. Jake also gave a sign of things to come, when he powered out of the Front Neck Lock, using his size alone. Afterwards he spoke on the mic, and threatened to do more.

GHC JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT
Dante Leon won the final pre match between himself and HAYATA, when he pinned Super Crazy. In lieu of wins over each other, the two had counted wins over each others team, and much to HAYATA'S chagrin, Dante had got the last one over him. At the press conference a few days later, HAYATA was slightly poetic (although he had to pause and touch his face when speaking), when he said that by defeating Dante he would have completed his hunt for the champions (the people who held the belt while he was injured). Dante said that he felt that he and HAYATA were alike, as they were both talented and neither liked to speak much, but in the match, he would defeat HAYATA with his own style. HAYATA was less than complimentary, he said that defeating Dante using Dante's own style was "no problem" and that he was someone who "wore flashy clothes and paint".

GHC HEAVYWEIGHT TAG
Due to neither Saxon Huxley or Timothy Thatcher being in Noah until the press conference/match signing on the 15th June, no pre matches have taken place between REAL (Thatcher and Huxley) and THE TOUGH (Yoshiki Inamura and Masa Kitamiya). At the press conference, REAL turned up eating fried chicken. Thatcher handed a nugget to Huxley, explaining that this was the only way he could control him, but it seemed that their food was also an excuse to not answer press questions, and be insolent to their opponents. Masa Kitamiya said sarcastically that the chicken looked delicious, with Inamura commenting that they could sit there next to him eating chicken, but this was not how THE TOUGH got attention.

GHC JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TAG
With YO-HEY and Daga having their singles match on 18th June, it fell to Tadasuke and Chris Ridgeway, who fought in Yokohama on the 10th. Unfortunately for Tadasuke, Ridgeway made him tap in six minutes and forty-four seconds. Ridgeway also bent his leg forward, not backwards, one fan commented that the human body was not meant to bend like that.

GHC NATIONAL
El Hijo Del Wagner Jnr returns to Noah on the 17th June. Noah have a following in France, which has been enhanced by the GHC National Champion appearing there, but while anyone can challenge for the belt, matches can only be done in Noah. So far no one has come forward.

EVENT RECAPS AND POST MATCH PROMOS

SUNNY VOYAGE 2023 - YOKOHAMA RADIANT HALL (SATURDAY JUNE 10TH 2023)

ELSEWHERE IN NOAH
- Yoshiki Inamura was making barking, growling and snapping motions to Saxon Huxley and Timothy Thatcher when the two teams squared up after the match signing. It is probably best that a fight did not break out, as Inamura's suit appeared to be suffering.
- Naomichi Marufuji posted a picture of one of his fingers which is crooked. Fans joined in with their own, and so did Takashi Sugiura. Sugiura made a rude motion with a rude connotation and asked Marufuji if this was okay? One fan commented that slowly, Sugi is returning to his old self.
- An almost unrecognizable LEONA returned to Noah in Yokohama, won the match and attacked Eita. He said that the sight of Eita pissed him off.
- A new boy has been seen at ringside, Chris Ridgeway had a few words with him when he was holding the ropes, and made him smile.
- Kaito Kiyomiya seems to have had an attitude change since announcing he will enter the G1, when he replied to a journalist with "Isn't that what I just said?" when he was asked whether he thought he was prepared enough to make a dent in New Japan and the G1? Normally he's polite!
- Since leaving Kongoh, Hi69 has reverted back to an old costume. His XX green camouflage costume from when he was in a tag with Taiji Ishimori about six or seven years ago now.
- Takashi Sugiura became exasperated with a journalists repeated questions about how he feels about GLG and said that if it was him then GLG meant "Good Looking Gorilla".
- Masa Kitamiya apparently forgot Timothy Thatcher's name and called the GHC Heavyweight Tag Champions, "Saxon and champion".
- Good Looking Guys did some maintenance outside the ring and the dojo, and visited a salon.
- Noah announced that Abid Haroon is now ready to enter the dojo.
- Mitsuharu Misawa wrote in "Donmai Donmai" that due to the lack of showers in a country venue which was held open air in Akita, he and Yoshinari Ogawa utilized a little kids paddling pool to bathe in before the drive back to Tokyo. The water used to fill the pool came from the mountains, and so was freezing cold, meaning that he and Ogawa screamed each time they showered.

NOTE ABOUT ABEMA BROADCASTS
For the overseas fan a subscription to WrestleUniverse is recommended instead of a subscription to ABEMA. You can only watch ABEMA shows live (you cannot watch replays should you miss the show), but these always get uploaded to WrestleUniverse a few minutes after the broadcast finishes. I do not recommend that overseas fans subscribe to ABEMA due to the time consuming and expensive issues around finding a VPN that is compatible with their firewall, and ABEMA do not broadcast any other Noah shows aside from the live broadcasts, they do not show much exclusive content and they do not show vintage or older events.

Birthdays & anniversaries
June 18th: Mitsuharu Misawa birthday (he would have been 61)
