(NOAH) Green Guide to "NOAH THE NEW YEAR" 2022 at The Nippon Budokan
Announcement
Noah had been hyping a big announcement to take place at "KAWASAKI GO!" on the 15th August. Fans were abuzz in guessing what it was, and ideas ranged from Naomichi Marufuji being announced as President of Noah, to Naomichi Marufuji announcing his marriage. This last guess was made as he appeared in traditional clothing, Montsuki-haori hakama, which is the highest formal attire for a Japanese man and are worn at important events, and spoke on the mic. He then stood on the turnbuckle as the video played. The video showed him standing on the turnbuckle of a Noah ring which was floating above the skies, he jumped off of it and fell through the clouds, landing on earth he found himself outside The Nippon Budokan. Taking a brush pen and an ink tray, he wrote the words "Nippon Budokan Event Decision". Noah will run The Nippon Budokan for a New Year show on the 1st January 2022.
About the event
This will be the first puroresu show to be held on New Year's Day and Noah plan to make it an annual event. The Japanese press are speculating that with Noah running The Budokan on the 1st, New Japan the Tokyo Dome on the 4th and lots of other promotions holding events in between, this will become the Japanese version of WrestleMania weekend, which they have dubbed "Puroresu Golden Week".

- KENTA announced that he would be returning to Noah for the Nippon Budokan show on the 28th November in what Noah called "the biggest announcement in history".
